POSITION SUMMARY: All brands strategy, product development and innovation are lead and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein, Heritage, and Tommy Hilfiger NA and SA brands and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe and Asia brand.   The position in this job description provides support on strategic, developmental or innovation activities to the above mentioned PVH related parties.

  • As a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Business Process Analyst India, you will work in the XXX department .You will work closely together with the PLM SCPD team, based in Amsterdam.
  • The main responsibility of the position is to work on product development processes and design processes for which the activities are carried out in Asia. In addition, ensure their efficiency and alignment across business divisions and regions. You will help the Amsterdam PLM team to define new business requirements and improvements focusing on implementation of enhancements, which support business needs and PLM strategy.
  • It is important that you have a clear understanding of business/process requirements through detailed investigation and that you are capable of translating them into technical requirements. The role involves interaction and cooperation of stakeholders across various business teams in various office on different time zones, therefore it is essential that you have excellent social, communication and project management skills.
  • You will play an important role in day-to-day support of our PLM system related to business processes, such as pattern and fit, bill of materials, quotes, vendor management, material management. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensure day to day support for all PLM system related requests, questions, feedback, and bugs/malfunctions.
  • Define and align scope for new developments and small projects with the Supply Chain Process Development team.  Plan analysis activities required to achieve the agreed scope.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements with the goal to map and improve existing business processes related to the PLM system.
  • Test new requirements, upgrades and improvements implemented by the technical team
  • Organize and deliver training sessions to PLM super users and/or vendors on site, about new system/process changes
  • Support the PLM Supply Chain Process Development team in deploying new developments and projects in local offices or vendors
  • Define standards and best practices in product development processes to reduce the complexity and align with the central Supply Chain Process Development team on them.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree in Business Economics, Management or equivalent, at an internationally minded Business School.
  • 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in fashion/retail industry or Consultancy.
  • Experience in project management and able to take care of stakeholder management.
  • Experience in modelling and mapping processes especially Supply Chain processes.

Skills:

  • Superior communication skills, team player with ability to influence others.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ‘can do’ mentality.
  • Ambitious, motivated and able to perform in hectic and changing work environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken language skills in English and ability to work in multi-cultural & multi-lingual environment.
  • PLM system knowledge is preferred.
  • Superior MS-Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) – credible at top management level and with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with the business and technical communities
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problems solving abilities
  • Effective organization and time management skills, with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with the global business teams and IT
  • Project management (PMP certified preferred)

  • Excellent skill in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint (MS Project/ Visio preferred)
