Senior Director Regional Merchandising (all categories) The Team Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, our mission is to ensure the Global Full Price product strategy is adapted to meet the specific needs of the region to maximize DTC performance & wholesale growth, and to ensure operational readiness across the Full Price buying teams. This position serves as the backbone of the Full Price team, collaborating closely with Hubs and wider CK teams to drive overall commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s operational efficiency, strategic growth and overall success. The Position As Senior Director Regional Merchandising, you will be crucial to the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, driving the regional assortment architecture, aligning needs with global strategies to meet market demands for the category (e.g. apparel, close to body, accessories etc.). You will work closely with global product creation teams and wider CK teams to ensure the EMEA region is well positioned with the right product mix. This role is vital for achieving the Full Price Buying & Merchandising objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the CK brand. Key Responsibilities: • Regional assortment architecture: Drive the development and execution of the regional assortment architecture for the EMEA region, aligning product needs with global strategies and market demands to ensure the right assortment across all channels, including wholesale and DTC. This includes managing product selection and segmentation for optimal growth and profitability.​ • Partner with global teams: Partner with global product creation teams to provide category strategy, range feedback, and regional product needs. Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to influence and inform the global product assortment, ensuring the EMEA region is well-positioned with the right mix of products.​ • Regional buying & assortment strategies: Define and manage regional buying and assortment strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive buy plans. This includes forecasting product volumes, managing commitments on a style level, and ensuring that products are available for both short-term and long-term market needs, optimizing inventory and sales.​ • Roll out of product assortment: Lead the regional rollout of product assortments, including ensuring that products are downloaded to sales teams and customers effectively. Coordinate showroom setups, launch strategies, and in-market execution to maximize sales performance and brand presence across the EMEA region, ensuring product launches are on time and aligned with regional priorities.​ • Team and line management: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing merchandising team, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment, and ensuring continuous professional growth and alignment with company goals. • Support departmental plans: work with the VP CK FP Buying & Merchandising to develop departmental plans and priorities Measures of Success • Product selection and trend responsiveness: high levels of assortment success including sell out performance of new collections, speed to market for new trends, exclusive product performance • Customer and market insight: accurate market insight including customer demand forecasting, customer ratings and reviews • Range & option count, sell through rate, net sales and inventory levels Requirements • Minimal 12 years’ experience in Merchandising for a fashion retailer • Able to work in a fast paced, matrix based, challenging environment. Strong influencing skills with experience in managing cross functional teams and marketplace execution​ • Proven analytical, planning and organization skills with the ability to generate meaningful data insight to take commercial decisions. • Communication skills: advanced ability to clearly convey information both written and orally with executive internal stakeholders and senior external stakeholders, effectively influencing others • Commercial Acumen: Advanced business and commercial acumen skills • Team player: Team player, and proven previous experience of 7+ years building and managing a team, coaching and developing individual team members ​providing stewardship, guidance and support • Fluent English both written and verbal ​ • Ability to travel abroad​​ • Education: a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience At PVH, how we act is as important as what we do.
