POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Sr Project Manager will manage the day-to-day operations and execution of all product GTM merchandising milestones and as well as manage workflow along with cross-functional communications. They will be responsible for the creation and management of project timelines and calendars related to specific merchandising projects. They will own the process for each major project assigned from inception to completion. This includes milestone agendas, resource allocation depending over deliverables, delivery of assets, and archive management. This candidate needs the ability to know when and how to raise red flags with all the necessary facts to the Sr. Director Project Management as issues arise that may impact milestone timing.

 

This role requires an understanding of the merchandising department and how it operation along with the Calvin Klein brand and the ability to manage multiple projects with high levels of complexity. This individual will work alongside Design, Merchandising, Marketing, and Supply across various levels of the organization.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Leads internal planning sessions and project roadmaps as well as socializes to cross-functional teams.

  • Meets and partners with executives and senior management within Design, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply, and Go-To-Market.

  • Leads communication with senior management in order to keep the project aligned with overarching goals and priorities.

  • Manages the development of day-to-day merchandising operations to modernize workflow and ensures best practices are in place.

  • Manages project timelines ensuring status updates are published and deadlines are met.

  • Using established project management tools, manages all Global and product strategy projects, keeping a current status document of all projects helping to lead weekly status meetings with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to ensure projects are delivered on time.

  • Possesses thorough understanding of the Calvin Klein Design and Merchandising function and responsibilities.

  • Oversees and facilitates cross-discipline and cross-partner collaboration.

  • Collaborates with Sr. Director Project Management to create efficiencies throughout the team to ensure timely delivery of projects, while possessing strong understanding of brand standards.

  • Provides point of view on best practices and solutions across functions.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

 

Experience: 8-10 years of proven and progressive project management experience in Merchandising, Design or Supply

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field; PMP certification a plus

 

Skills:

 

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong work ethic and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as analyzing data

  • Customer service-oriented

  • Comfortable managing and influencing people who are not direct reports across all levels

  • Ability to manage, motivate, and influence project progress

  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and deliver on multiple concurrent tight deadlines

  • Strong working knowledge of integrated production

  • Proficient and familiar with Adobe software packages and other data analytics and project management software solutions

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Direct: Sr Coordinator Project Management

 

 

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Contributes to the development of overall project/process management standards and best practices bringing specific business unit knowledge and experience.

 

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Must be resourceful in solving challenges in creative ways in order to ensure on time delivery.

 

ENVIRONMENT: The environment is extremely fast-paced and deadline driven.

Pay Range:$121,400---$164,300

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
