The Position
As a Business Controlling Intern, you will join the Finance team and support the Business Controlling team in planning, reporting and performance analysis activities.
This internship will give you the opportunity to develop a solid understanding of business controlling processes and learn how financial data and insights support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the Accounting and Business teams in an international and fast-paced environment.
You will:
Support month-end closing activities, helping ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Assist with monthly P&L and Capex reporting, including the preparation of dashboards and the analysis of performance deviations.
Support the yearly budget and monthly reforecast processes by collecting, consolidating and analysing financial data.
Contribute to profitability analyses by channel, brand and store.
Assist with ad-hoc business and financial analyses to support decision-making.
Support the development and improvement of reporting tools and processes.
Collaborate with different departments, contributing to a data-driven and analytical approach across the organization.
The Ideal Candidate
Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Strong interest in business controlling, financial planning and analysis.
Basic understanding of P&L structures and accounting principles.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Previous project or internship experience involving financial analysis or reporting is considered a plus.
Knowledge of SAP or other financial reporting tools is considered a plus.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
Positive, proactive and curious attitude, with a strong willingness to learn.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
