The Team
Fitting within the wider Global Brand Marketing team (GBM), PVH STUDIOS (PVHS) produces over 175,000 image assets each year for Tommy Hilfiger, primarily for the brands’ global Ecommerce websites. From its new state-of-the-art 23,500 sq. ft. facility in Amsterdam, PVHS strives to blend operational excellence with creative elevation to ensure best-in-class digital fashion consumer experiences, every day. With 9 fully-equipped Ecommerce bays running on the latest tech, 2 Editorial Studios with drive-in capacity, a Still Life Studio, Equipment Room, Sample Management area, cafe with full menu, kitchen, offices, meeting rooms and chill-out spaces - it is truly one-of-a-kind.
The Position
Reporting into the Sr. Creative Manager, The Photography & Video Lead will work closely with Full Time (FTE) Creative & Styling team, to create aspirational ‘On-Model’ and ‘Still-Life’ images for both Tommy Hilfiger Product Detail Page (PDP) and special project shoots. The role balances commercial, strategic and brand considerations, focused on elevation and consistency to inspire our consumers
Key Responsibilities
Included, but not limited to:
Shoot ‘On-Model’ and ‘Still Life’ imagery and video for PDP & special projects shoots.
Own photographic & video output from PVHS with accountability for image composition and product display according to brand guidelines.
Lead Model, Styling and Digitech talent on-set to drive elevated imagery against global guidelines.
Create, update and maintain in-studio guidelines for clear, consistent, coherent guidelines for freelance reference.
Continually improve aesthetic standard alongside Sr. Creative Manager, Art Directors, and Fashion Office.
Work closely with Art Directors, Operations and Production teams to optimize studio efficiencies’ each day.
Train new freelance photographers for PDP sets on both stills & Video guidleines.
Continuously strive to balance brand aesthetic and productivity targets on PDP sets.
Consistently review shoot practices to drive efficiencies against the quality-bar.
Collaborate with Imaging Manager & Digital Tech to ensure all lighting and color is accurate and consistent every day.
Shoot Editorial Projects to support Global Brand Marketing Content needs; still life, on model photography, and video.
Collaborate with Art Directors to actualize concepts & briefs
Support Imaging Manager on equipment requests and pre-lighting for special projects.
Ideal Candidate
At least 6 x years’ experience in a technical photography & video role within high-volume E-Com fashion workflows.
Strong background in balancing creative with commercial, operational and strategic business acumen.
Elevated creative portfolio resonating with contemporary fashion consumers.
Strong creative eye for fashion photography & video
Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills.
Preferable track-record of inspiring, managing and directing creative teams (comprising of Photographers, Stylists, Models, Hair & Make-Up Artists, Digital Technicians and Retouchers.)
