The Team

Within the eCommerce team, our mission is to drive a commercially focused strategy with a strong emphasis on product, trading, and business growth to elevate online performance. The Digital Merchandising team serves as the backbone of eCommerce, leading site merchandising, content, and product launches to achieve sales and conversion targets, as well as operational excellence. The team works closely with the broader CK teams to ensure strategic alignment and drive commercial performance. As a key member of the team, this role plays a significant part in the department’s overall success and strategic growth.

The Position

As the Manager Digital Merchandising, you will lead the strategic execution of digital merchandising, content management, and consumer-first storytelling for Calvin Klein Europe’s websites. You will be responsible for optimising the on-site experience to drive engagement, conversion, and brand equity through seamless campaign execution and category merchandising. Reporting into the Director Digital Merchandising, this role plays a critical part in translating commercial priorities and brand vision into a cohesive digital journey. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across eCommerce, Marketing, UX, Analytics, and Product to ensure a premium and high-performing consumer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of seasonal campaigns, promotions, and content updates across site touchpoints.
  • Manage and optimise category merchandising, product placement, and site navigation to drive conversion.
  • Develop and manage engaging product content and storytelling to support brand and commercial objectives.
  • Improve user experience and internal site search functionality in partnership with UX and SEO teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, IT, marketing, and digital product teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Leverage analytics tools to assess site performance, identify conversion blockers, and drive optimisations.
  • Implement personalisation, localisation, and segmentation strategies to enhance consumer engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the content and merchandising team with both strategic direction and pastoral care.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice and design across all site content and digital touchpoints.
  • Drive continuous improvement in publishing processes, tooling, and workflows.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5–8 years of experience in site merchandising, digital content, or eCommerce, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of campaign execution, merchandising best practices, and digital storytelling.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CMS and PIM systems; experience with merchandising tools such as Fredhopper, XO, or similar platforms.
  • Data-driven with hands-on experience in GA4, Adobe Analytics, and Contentsquare to optimise content and user experience.
  • Solid grasp of SEO, UX best practices, and conversion optimisation.
  • Consumer-first mindset with an understanding of localisation, personalisation, and digital commerce trends.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing consumer experience.
  • Experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field (Master’s preferred).
