Tommy Hilfiger Global Consumer Engagement Group: 

The team brings Tommy Hilfiger’s global campaigns, activations and products to life for consumers across all marketing and commercial touch points. With relentless focus and consistency, the team executes high impact brand and product storytelling that builds desirability and relevance with consumers. The Global Consumer Engagement leadership team is comprised of highly experienced marketing channel leaders who set the global agenda and strategies for Communications; Social Media; Events; Partnerships and Commercial Marketing Activation. The mission is to shape the unique and meaningful consumer-facing experiences that cut through to target audiences and make Tommy Hilfiger’s collections the most desirable in the market. 

 

Summary:  

As a key member of the Global Marketing leadership team, the Sr. Director of Global Social Media will drive the strategic development, execution, and innovation of Tommy Hilfiger’s global social presence. This executive will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s voice, narrative, and impact across platforms, ensuring social media is a powerful driver of brand equity, cultural relevance, and business growth. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

Leadership & Vision 

  • Act as a senior leader within Global Marketing, bringing the PVH+ vision to life by driving performance, collaboration, and innovation within the social media function. 

  • Role model PVH Leadership Behaviors, fostering inclusive, adaptive leadership while building a high-impact, globally aligned team culture. 

  • Define and own the global social media vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overall brand, marketing, and commercial objectives. 

  • Set the strategic direction across all platforms—Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging channels—maintaining consistency in tone, storytelling, and creative expression. 

Team Development & Collaboration 

  • Build, lead, and coach a high-performing global team across strategy, content, publishing, analytics, and platform relations. 

  • Drive collaboration between regional teams in Europe, the Americas, and APAC to ensure executional consistency and local cultural relevance. 

  • Empower teams with clear frameworks, development plans, and support for creative and professional growth. 

Brand & Content Strategy 

  • Evolve the brand’s personality on social, ensuring storytelling is aligned with brand values and resonates with target audiences worldwide. 

  • Oversee content creation across all formats (video, short-form, user-generated content, etc.) in partnership with creative, brand marketing, influencer, and paid media teams. 

  • Integrate social media into broader campaign and commercial marketing initiatives, with tailored content for each channel and moment. 

Platform & Partner Leadership 

  • Serve as Tommy Hilfiger’s senior representative to major social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Pinterest, X, Snapchat), cultivating strong partnerships and securing early access to new features and innovation opportunities. 

  • Actively identify, evaluate, and test new platforms, tools, and formats that can accelerate brand engagement and business results. 

Performance, Measurement & Optimization 

  • Establish and manage global KPIs across engagement, reach, sentiment, and conversions—connecting social activity to key business metrics. 

  • Lead reporting and analysis efforts to inform real-time optimization and long-term planning. 

  • Own the global social media budget, ensuring smart allocation of resources across content, platforms, tools, and partnerships. 

 

Qualfications: 

  • 10–12+ years of progressive experience in social media and digital marketing leadership, ideally within global fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands. 

  • Proven success in building and executing global social strategies that drive engagement, cultural relevance, and business results. 

  • Deep expertise in platform dynamics, regional nuances, and social trends across all major channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.). 

  • Experience leading large, multi-functional global teams across strategy, content, publishing, and analytics. 

  • Strong record of managing executive-level relationships with platforms, agencies, and tech partners. 

  • Inspiring and inclusive leader with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. 

  • Data-driven with fluency in metrics and tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Emplifi), and a focus on actionable insights. 

  • Creative thinker with the ability to connect brand storytelling to business impact. 

  • Excellent communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels, including the C-suite. 

  • Skilled at working within complex, matrixed organizations, partnering across functions and regions.
