About the Role

The Assistant Sourcing will support the Manager Sourcing in the day-to-day responsibilities of Retail development. This role involves overseeing product development, pre-production costing and sourcing responsibilities to meet organizational goals and metrics. Categories include Women’s/Men’s Bags/SLGs and Soft Accessories.

What You'll Do

  • Style and Bill of Material management in PLM system
  • Daily communication management with factories, overseas PVH Hub, design, and merchandising
  • Timely follow-up/email communications with cross-functional onshore/offshore teams
  • Track and strive for on-time and complete arrival of seasonal proto samples
  • Participate in proto reviews & line finalization meetings when necessary
  • Receive and track material submits/lab dips as needed – review with CFT for approval
  • Assist with cost management
  • Analyze new developments critically to ensure meeting aesthetic requirements within targeted cost parameters
  • Support the manager with assigned projects for management business reviews/meetings
  • Develop and maintain tracking reports as necessary
  • Assist in achieving calendar milestones
  • Manage sample rotation and storage of Proto and PP samples
  • Track and maintain records of details, updates, changes for (PLM) system and proto samples, ensuring adherence to calendar milestones
  • Collaborate with Supply Manager and Design on seasonal R&D and new sourcing opportunities
  • Handle other responsibilities and projects as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in Product Development/Sourcing.
  • Handbags/Accessories is a plus.
  •      Must be analytical; understand the supply goals & metrics
  • Good judgment & decision-making skills (with an ability to get to root cause analysis)
  • Excellent communication & time management skills (to include good listening & negotiation skills)
  • Must be detail oriented, resourceful, have excellent follow-up skills; learning and using all appropriate contacts to gather information & drive solutions
  • Must be enthusiastic and flexible and able to function in a fast-paced environment, with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate, transcending different cultures, geographies & time zones.
  • Computer skills - Microsoft office, specifically Excel/PowerPoint is a must, PLM is a plus

Education:  

Bachelor’s Degree is required. Preferably in the fashion field.

Pay Range:$59,000---$85,200

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
