The Team

The Visual Merchandising (VM) team shapes impactful brand experiences across DTC, eCommerce, and wholesale channels, aligned with global vision and commercial goals. We elevate our brands voice by adapting global seasonal strategies and partnering with local VM teams to ensure seamless, on-brand storytelling. Through close collaboration with Retail, Marketing, and Buying teams, we bring campaigns to life across in-store and digital environments, creating consistent and compelling consumer touchpoints.

The Position:

The VM Brand Manager will elevate visual merchandising across the hub market, working closely with the Regional Visual Merchandising Director, Hub VM Lead, and Merchandise Coordinator teams. Acting as a key partner to the Hub Lead and link to the regional office, the role ensures brand-specific visual standards for all Tommy Hilfiger product categories, while adapting to local market needs and distribution channels.

A core responsibility is to build and develop VM team skills—supporting new starters, motivating experienced MC teams, and driving succession planning to ensure growth and long-term development. The role involves weekly store visits, hands-on coaching, reviewing store reports, and providing real-time feedback and solutions to strengthen execution.

The VM Brand Manager also collaborates with the regional team on testing model store set-ups, sharing insights, and refining global guidelines to align with EMEA-specific strategies.

Responsibilities:

Visual Merchandising Execution & Standards

  • Elevate VM across product categories and channels in the hub market.

  • Conduct regular store visits, coaching MCs and ensuring consistent brand identity.

  • Align store presentation with brand goals and strategies.

Team Development & Mentorship

  • Mentor and support MCs, especially in remote areas, with on-the-floor coaching.

  • Onboard new starters quickly, while motivating and upskilling tenured MCs.

  • Drive succession planning and talent development within the team.

  • Foster a collaborative, efficient, and growth-oriented culture.

Brand Elevation & In-Store Opportunities

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the in-store brand experience.

  • Partner with VM Lead on key brand initiatives and sales-driving strategies.

  • Lead model store setups, flagship flips, and new store installations.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Review SVRs, highlighting strengths and addressing gaps.

  • Share insights with VM Lead and regional teams to optimize execution.

  • Recap MC activities and competitor actions to drive best practice.

Talent Identification & Growth

  • Identify and develop high-potential team members.

  • Collaborate with HR to provide training, tools, and resources.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Align with VM Lead, Buying, Marketing, and Sales to support business goals.

  • Partner with Visual Assortment Manager to strengthen regional impact.

  • Support seasonal updates, campaigns, and guideline execution.

Troubleshooting & Solutions

  • Provide real-time support for VM challenges and execution issues.

  • Suggest improvements to store setups to meet the brand’s highest standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in visual merchandising, retail, or related roles, with proven team development and in-store presentation experience across product categories.

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.

  • Expertise in VM principles, standards, and brand alignment.

  • Skilled in analyzing SVRs and providing real-time feedback.

  • Effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments with high execution standards.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience designing and delivering training programs.

  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.

  • Passion for visual merchandising with a strong eye for detail and customer impact.

  • Inspiring leader who motivates teams and fosters growth.

  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities across locations.

  • Committed to continuous improvement and elevating the in-store brand experience.
