About the Role:

A strategic role within the North American Procurement team, the Buyer will support Global Procurement by tracking/maintaining/sourcing supplies and services, participating in and planning sourcing opportunities, while identifying spend management goals and objectives to support all divisions at PVH Corp; including Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.

 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with stakeholders of supported division(s), as well as Corporate partners to understand requisition requirements, create sourcing strategy, execute, and manage projects

  • Strategically identify opportunities and analyze spend for sourcing initiatives

  • Provide operational support (budget review and procurement process guidance) to internal stakeholders

  • Drive compliance with internal stakeholders in accordance with the Procurement Policy

  • Assist/Support in the development of RFP specifications, standards, and strategy

  • Assist/Support in the management of Corporate and Divisional Procurement programs/projects

  • Assist/Support in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable prices and terms

  • Assist/Support in generating reports and sharing feedback/data with Procurement Team

  • Participate in quarterly divisional meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss current projects, to anticipate/identify sourcing opportunities, and maintain regular communication channels

  • Balance tactical executions with company strategic and financial objectives to drive cost reduction

  • Evaluate and approve requisitions / PO’s for supported division(s) as requested to ensure adherence to Procurement Policy

  • Actively participate in vendor evaluations and business reviews

  • Manage and stay current on changes that may affect the supply/demand of core supplies and communicate this information to internal stakeholders

  • Ability to train & utilize the SAP Ariba system including Sourcing, P2P, and Spend Visibility modules

  • Assist AP and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Provide support to fellow Buyers, Senior Buyers, and Procurement Management team as needed.

  • Special Tasks/Projects (as directed).

 

What You'll Bring:

 

Experience:  1-3 years work experience in Procurement.

Retail corporate environment a plus

 

Education:   4-year College degree required.  Procurement Certifications a plus

 

Skills: ARIBA, Microsoft Office, negotiations, project management, Procurement (end to end process – RFP, PO, payment), strategic sourcing, vendor management, etc.

Pay Range:$63,000---$85,200

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
