The Team

The EMEA Creative department is a creative hub within the direct-to-consumer (DTC) organisation, responsible for providing consumers the most compelling store and showroom experience in the region based on the global direction delivered by the CK Global Brand Environments team based in the New York global Calvin Klein headquarters. Overseeing the creation of Visual Merchandising (VM) & Windows guidelines, sampling and production of window concepts, showroom operations, and regional product presentation training, this EMEA department ensures regional DTC success in close collaboration with the market hubs.

The CK Creative Concepts team produces and deliver guidelines and tools to the EMEA market, ensuring brand consistency and commerciality across retail and wholesale. Design, production and implementation of creative concepts, campaigns and consumer messaging are managed alongside the regional showrooms.
 

The Position:

Specialist Consumer Messaging, part of the CK EMEA Creative Concepts team, reporting to the Senior Manager Creative Concepts, drives the development of non-seasonal and project specific consumer messaging assets for the EMEA markets through partnership with global brand environments, central and local marketing, visual & retail product merchandising and key external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage development and distribution of non-seasonal & project specific consumer messaging assets for windows and in-store environments across all divisions and channels: Retail Full Price + Outlet and Wholesale. These are mostly, but not strictly linked to non-seasonal campaigns and product stories, member activations, fit-guides, and sales/promotions. These can also be linked to seasonal campaigns and key brand marketing stories.

  • Drive efficient processes through an effective collaboration with the assigned suppliers, contractors and agencies.

  • Define the available assets for the EMEA market in communication with other business stakeholders, such as Global brand environments, Global and European marketing, Retail & Visual merchandising, Buying teams, Divisions.

  • Create and approve all assets according to brand guidelines.

  • Communicate and define accurate and market specific rules and exceptions with supplier, according to global guidelines.

  • Create and communicate rollout plan in collaboration with the supplier including all relevant information in order to ensure that timelines and launch dates are met.

  • Assist with translation process, help coordinate the development and delivery of translation materials to ensure smooth regional execution of consumer messaging across different markets, countries and languages.

  • Approve consumer messaging artworks prior to production across all channels and divisions.

  • Collaborate with all direct team members and local teams on roll-out, ensuring consistent, on-brand communication across all markets.

  • Monitor costs including raising purchase orders and oversee the recharge process for franchisees.

  • Ensure that all relevant consumer messaging assets are available on the digital database on time and accurately plan data clean-up and order phases with the supplier and markets.

  • Oversee assets implementation on selected digital video screens in collaboration with suppliers.

  • Provide clear information and content for the creation of accurate monthly guidelines and communication updates via official channels.

  • Monitor and guide the local production process between local markets (where applicable).

The Ideal Candidate

  • Related university degree + 4-7 years’ work experience in the field of design and production of 2D assets

  • Experience in supplier communication and clear briefing

  • Experience in graphic design and creation of appealing documents

  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Excellent knowledge of MS office

  • Familiarity with content management programs (Asana, Wrike, Miro, MSTeams)

  • Ability to conceptualise ideas and bring them to realisation

  • Ability to be pro-active, self-reliant and comfortable with decision-making

  • Ability to combine creative thinking with strategic execution

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
