POSITION SUMMARY:  

If you thrive in a culture of trust where you and your unique viewpoint matter, the PVH Supply Data & Analytics (SDA) team is for you.  This team is passionate about unleashing the full potential of a data-driven Supply Chain through exceptional data & analytics and impactful insights.  The Manager of Analytics is a critical role unlocking transformational benefits within our Supply Chain and driving our strategic priorities through data.

In this position, you will help drive the execution of data product initiatives as part of the PVH Supply Chain Analytics team.  This role will leverage their technical and analytical skills to translate business requirements into reporting & analytics deliverables empowering PVH Supply Chain stakeholders with trusted data & insights to make informed, data-driven decisions.

This candidate will manage a variety of data and analytics activities related to new Supply Chain initiatives (E.g.: Product Cost Optimization, Supply Chain Visibility, Raw Material Spend Analytics) as well as helping identify the impact of adverse market conditions and supply chain disruptions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Conduct data discovery and data quality analysis (using Excel, PowerBI, Databricks) needed to understand business requirements and deliver high quality data products supporting PVH Supply
  • Work with business stakeholders to further clarify requirements and address inconsistencies
  • Work with stakeholders in business and IT to quantify impact, conduct root cause and correct data quality issues
  • Create and enhance PowerBI data models and visuals as needed to deliver supply use cases using robust best practices to ensure performance and long-term maintainability
  • Prioritize work to deliver against the SDA strategic roadmap and data product priorities on-time and with quality
  • Understand evolving Internal Supply chain systems landscape and architecture
    • Analyze data from multiple supply source systems and harmonize for analytics use
  • Perform variety analyses, hypothesis testing, and causal analyses to statistically assess data trends and propose solutions
  • Define clear technical requirements in Jira to ensure IT work can be planned and executed efficiently with minimal discussion or rework
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders - US SDA counterparts, IT Data Engineering and Data Modeling teams, Brand and Business stakeholders to deliver results
  • Conduct testing and validation of data products and reports
  • Present quantitative insights in a simple & effective way to leadership
  • Deliver against ad-hoc data analysis requests as needed to support the analysis of supply chain disruptions within PVH Supply

           Indirect:  Operate within a Pod structure to deliver outcomes as prioritized

DECISION MAKING:

  • Prioritization of work assignments based on strategic importance and value
  • Provide creative perspectives to solve complex problems
  • Determine the best course of action to achieve objectives of a delivery or resolve an issue
  • Define options and recommend solutions for complex data issues
  • Proactive escalation of issues before they cause a delay in a deliverable

ENVIRONMENT:

This role is a critical part of the existing PVH Supply Data & Analytics team.  This is a global team, working across brands and commercial regions to deliver insights to our Supply Chain business partners.  The role reports directly to the Director of Data & Analytics, based in Bangalore, and work with SDA and business counterparts in India, Hong Kong, China, Amsterdam and New York.

Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant experience

.

Education: Bachelor's degree in data & Analytics, Engineering, Science or similar quantitative field required

Technical Skills (Must have)

  • 5+ years’ Power BI experience delivering self-service analytics, insights, KPIs and metrics in a BI or related role.
  • 5+ years of working experience with Databricks
  • General understanding of tech landscape and strong understanding of data platforms/tech stack
  • Strong expertise with data mining using SQL
    • Ability to query and manipulate datasets using SQL.
    • Ability to write complex queries to model business rules.
    • Solid understanding of Dimensional data models.
  • Strong expertise with MS Excel (Pivot tables, look-up formulas, handling large volumes of data).
  • Demonstrated skill in data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment.
  • Exposure to AI tools and concepts, including ChatGPT
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence.

Technical Skills (Good to have)

  • Experience using PowerPoint to present analysis findings and provide insights
  • Prior experience / exposure to applying analytics in a Supply Chain environment
  • Prior experience / exposure to applying analytics in Fashion / Apparel
  • Exposure to open-source programming languages for data analysis (Python)

  • Strong communication skills in English; strong ability to synthesize and translate technical information for a non-technical audience in a concise and clear manner
  • Ability to collaborate and build strong, trusted partnerships both within the team and across stakeholder communities, crossing many cultures and geographies

  • Exposure of working in a global and matrix organization.
  • Eager to Learn and a passion for understanding the story beyond the data and the art of the possible

  • Strong organizational skills needed to manage multiple tasks and priorities and ensure work stays on track
