About the role:

Financial & Tax Reporting / Consolidation Team, as well as Treasury, focuses on both Financial as well as Tax reporting and accounting as well as Treasury responsibilities. Focus areas include Month-end/Quarterly/Year-end close activities, external Audits on both US GAAP as well as Statutory Audits, P&L / Balance Sheet / Cash Flow reporting, Tax reporting, guidance, and implementation of US GAAP policies with a continued focus on driving optimization and automation. Treasury in Europe is responsible for the EMEA region of the company for topics such as cash management, FX hedging, and Short-Term Financing, and belongs to the Finance Team of PVH in Europe.

Using this data to provide insights, challenge, and guide business stakeholders while acting as a center of excellence on specialized financial, risk, and compliance topics. The Manager Financial Controlling is primarily responsible for financial inventory controlling and accounting, reviewing, planning, and evaluating the Balance Sheet and Cashflow statements and related processes, and striving for further optimization, improvement, and automation.

What you'll do:

  • Taking ownership of and further development of financial inventory controlling activities like dashboarding, valuation, cost prices, cost control, business partnering, and provisioning on brand, divisional, and channel level

  • Coordination and participation in month-end closure activities like stock reporting, stock reclassifications, stock valuation topics, and goods in transit

  • Supporting Strategy execution around Optimizing Supply Value Chain projects

  • Responsible for and coordination of inventory planning and alignment with Supply Chain and FP&A business partners for budgets and forecasts, including additional disclosures

  • Participating in accounting, preparing, analysing, reviewing, evaluating, and presenting actual Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements for the PVH Europe company

  • Driving change and further development on designing, monitoring, and analysing financial key performance indicators and processes related to Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash Flow statements

  • Coordinating and collaborating with IT teams for safeguarding and further development of BI developments in the Finance team, including project management

  • Participation and support in quarterly preparation, review, and submission of Disclosures

  • Key spokesperson and single point of contact for financial inventory and analysis; frequently dealing with US and Senior Management stakeholders

  • Internal controls in compliance with SOX and Audit requirements

  • Involvement in further process improvements and related business projects

  • Preparation of information for senior management, both structured and on an ad hoc basis (dashboarding, board decks, presentations)

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant financial accounting and reporting experience, preferably with inventory exposure. Experience within retail, supply chain, and/or fashion industry preferred

  • Accountancy qualification required (US CPA preferred) 

  • Skilled in BI, strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, BW, BPC, HANA, Tableau)

  • Proactive, organized self-starter able to drive projects to completion and flexible & deadline-oriented

  • Strong team player. Fitting in our casual company culture

  • People management and influencing skills, as well as being able to make an impact in a Matrix organization with stakeholder management skills at all levels

  • Ability to solve complex problems and deal with a wide range of issues.  

  • Able to clearly articulate finance topics in plain language to various stakeholders. Able to form trusted relationships with (Sr.) Stakeholders
