The Team

The Global Consumer Brand Experience team is responsible for crafting immersive, multi-sensory environments that captivate consumers and drive brand loyalty. Through Retail Concept Design, Visual Merchandising, Windows & Showrooms and Store Experience, we elevate engagement across all channels and markets with a 360° approach.

Balancing creativity with commercial strategy, we ensure global consistency with local adaptability, shaping the physical identity and consumer experience across retail, wholesale, and pop-up environments. Together, we create compelling spaces that inspire consumers and reinforce Tommy Hilfiger as a leading lifestyle destination.

The Position

The Manager, Global Showrooms is responsible for leading the development, execution, and optimization of showroom concepts and activations that support seasonal product storytelling, brand positioning, and wholesale engagement. This role manages a team of showroom designers and production specialists, ensuring operational efficiency and creative excellence across showroom experiences.

This position works closely with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Regional Teams, ensuring that showroom activations align with business priorities and brand storytelling. The Manager also oversees execution planning, installation oversight, and vendor partnerships, ensuring showroom experiences meet global standards while adapting to regional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Showroom Concept Development & Execution

  • Lead the design and execution of seasonal showroom concepts for all divisions in Amsterdam, ensuring alignment with brand storytelling and product launches.

  • Oversee the design of satellite showrooms, partnering with regional teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Define showroom layouts, product presentations, and storytelling moments, working closely with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams.

  • Ensure showroom environments enhance the B2B experience, supporting wholesale buyers, sales teams, and internal brand messaging.

  • Partner with Global Marketing, Merchandising, and Design teams, ensuring showroom environments align with seasonal campaigns and brand messaging.

  • Work closely with regional showroom teams to adapt global showroom concepts to meet local market needs.

  • Collaborate with Production and Planning teams, overseeing showroom rollouts, execution quality, and efficiency.

Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee showroom planning, production timelines, and design approvals, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution.

  • Manage vendor partnerships for showroom installations, including furniture, set design, and visual merchandising elements.

  • Ensure showroom materials and executions align with sustainability standards and budget constraints.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a team of showroom designers and production specialists, fostering creativity, collaboration, and executional excellence.

  • Provide strategic guidance and feedback, driving continuous improvement in showroom execution.

  • Ensure a strong team culture, balancing innovation with structured execution.

Measures of Success

  • High-quality, on-brand showroom executions that align with seasonal storytelling and business objectives.

  • On-time delivery of showroom toolkits, layouts, and installations across global markets.

  • Strong cross-functional engagement, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal teams and regional partners.

  • Sustainability and cost-efficiency improvements in showroom production and materials selection.

  • Positive feedback from internal teams and external partners on showroom effectiveness and impact.


The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in showroom design, retail concept development, or visual merchandising, ideally within a global brand.

  • Expertise in spatial design, storytelling, and experiential marketing, with a deep understanding of showroom activations.

  • Strong project management and vendor coordination skills, with the ability to oversee showroom installations end-to-end.

  • Experience working with global teams, ensuring scalable showroom concepts across multiple markets.

  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools).

  • Strong understanding of B2B showroom strategies and wholesale business needs.
