The Team

The Global Communications Team (GCT), part of the Global Consumer Engagement team, is responsible for developing all consumer-facing communication strategies for both Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans. The GCT’s Vision is to:

  • Consistently drive brand desirability and relevance.
  • Build consumer love, desire and trust for our products.
  • Amplify the impact of all brand initiatives and projects through global press. Engage with the target audience across all communication touchpoints.

Way of Working

The GCT team is responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders including global and regional teams, as well as business partners. They will work closely with respective stakeholders to ensure all communications strategies are effectively implemented on a regional/local level while ensuring a consistent brand message and elevating the brand’s exposure. By leveraging each other’s expertise and creativity, the team members work together to develop and execute integrated communication and product seeding strategies that move the needle with audiences around the world.

The Tommy Hilfiger brand DNA is at the heart of this team – the signature red, white and blue, iconic lifestyle meets innovative storytelling across the GCT. The team delivers on every initiative with the single Shared Objective to win at consumer engagement through every touch point, message, and decision.

The Position

The Manager, PR plays a pivotal role in leading the brand’s external storytelling across Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans. As a key member of the Global Communications Team, this person is responsible for shaping and executing seasonal and year-round PR strategies, overseeing global media relations, managing high-impact brand events, and ensuring all communications reflect the brand’s unique DNA.

This role requires a strategic and creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can confidently manage cross-functional relationships, and brings a deep understanding of the fashion media and influencer landscape.

This position will work closely with Marketing teams and with peers on the GCT to capture and create communication assets that will be used both internally and externally. Excellent organization and tight end-to-end management skills are required, as well as efficient delivery and approvals of assets – from brief to sign off.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Drive the development and execution of seasonal, annual, and key PR strategies and toolkits to support brand storytelling across all global markets.
  • Act as the strategic lead and daily contact for regional PR teams, driving global brand features and media partnerships while ensuring alignment with global messaging and objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with global press teams and cross-functional partners such as Social, Talent, and Brand Marketing to create cohesive and impactful communication outputs.
  • Partner with Manager, Copywriter and relevant stakeholders to craft global communication assets, including press releases, global talking points, Q&As, and external speaking engagements for senior leaders, as well as key messaging for brand ambassadors and major brand initiatives.
  • Lead planning and execution of global PR events such as fashion shows, collection launches, and press previews, and coordinate global activations across key territories in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with media, stylists, influencers, and VIPs to enhance the brand's visibility and build long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze global media coverage across print, online, and social channels and share monthly comprehensive reporting with key stakeholders, in partnership with TH internal comms.
  • Proactively drive and manage monthly reporting in print, online, and social in partnership with PR Specialist, Global Communications.
  • Provide fast-paced crisis PR support and lead the development of communication responses to sensitive issues when needed.
  • Support and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and create effective communication assets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in fashion PR, with a strong track record of leading successful media and influencer campaigns.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute PR strategies across global markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling instincts.
  • Deep understanding of the global fashion landscape, including key media, influencers, events, and industry trends.
  • Brings existing relationships with fashion media and influencers and knows how to leverage them effectively.
  • Equally strong at cultivating new connections, building trust, and positioning the brand with emerging voices and platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative edge and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional relationships and collaborating with global teams.
  • Calm and solutions-oriented in high-pressure or crisis situations.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Naturally strives for excellence and always looking to meet the highest standards and quality.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
