The Tommy Hilfiger Partner Program team is part of the TH Ecommerce Europe department. The team executes all necessary functions to manage the Ecommerce business end-to-end. The immediate team consists of 3 team members and is part of a core Partner Program team across different teams and functions. As the Ecommerce business is one of the main growth opportunities, there is a high focus in the organization to support the Ecommerce expansion for both own-and-operated Ecommerce, as well as our Partner Program business.  

As Manager Trade – Marketplaces, you will be the key driver of in-season and pre-season trading activities across key marketplaces including Zalando, About You, ASOS, and new platforms. This role is responsible for overseeing product readiness, promotional strategies, pricing alignment, and commercial performance on a daily, weekly, and seasonal basis. You will also develop the Marketplace buy strategy, lead major event planning (e.g. Cyber Week), drive the expansion with new players and ensure alignment with internal and partner teams.  

This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring strong analytical, planning, and communication skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of marketplace dynamics and trading processes. 

Daily & Weekly Marketplace Operations  

  • Monitor Zalando’s Direct platform to ensure optimal product availability, listing status, and visibility. 

  • Identify and resolve article errors in collaboration with Product Launch and relevant stakeholders  

  • Review Zalando's Customer Excellence Model (CXM) dashboard and escalate visibility/sales-impacting issues  

  • Use internal pricing tools to resolve price-related blockages flagged in the “Prices to Fix” report  

  • Provide return performance insights to Buying and Product teams to optimize assortment planning  

Trade Performance & Campaign Management  

  • Track daily and weekly commercial performance using Tableau and internal dashboards; implement corrective actions where needed  

  • Coordinate with Planning to align on targets such as OEV, RNS, and markdown %  

  • Plan and manage Zalando Marketing Services (ZMS) campaigns and ensure continuous visibility via combi lists  

  • Track onboarding progress using the Live From Launch (LFL) report  

  • Ensure readiness for campaign moments including Cyber Week, End-of-Season Sales (EOSS), and holidays by updating internal calendars and aligning prices and products  

Commercial plan and Cyber Week Leadership  

  • Develop and lead the Marketplace trading strategy, collaborating with Trade Marketing, Planning, and O&O teams. 

  • Present strategy to broader eCommerce team and lead execution across partners  

  • Seasonal Buy & Assortment Planning  

  • Build seasonal buy budgets with Planning and Buying teams based on historic sell-through and partner performance  

Align with Wholesale and internal teams on key milestones, segmentation, and buy overlap with O&O  

  • Represent marketplaces in internal buy meetings and ensure all commercial opportunities are maximized  

  • Develop the seasonal Partner Program (PP) Buy Strategy, balancing additional assortment with commercial white spaces  

  • Coordinate the creation of Marketplace-specific assortment and product launch reports to support onboarding  

Measures of Success  

  • Marketplace sales performance vs. OEV and RNS targets  

  • Visibility and activation of key products and campaigns across partners  

  • Accuracy and timeliness of product onboarding and promotional execution  

  • Strong collaboration and alignment with internal teams and external partners  

  • Strategic impact delivered through seasonal buy plans and Cyber Week leadership  

 

Experience & Background:  

  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, merchandising, or trading roles, with at least 2+ years focused on marketplaces  

  • Experience with partners such as Zalando, About You, or ASOS is highly preferred  

  • Background in fashion, apparel, or consumer goods industry  

Skills & Tools:  

  • Proficient in marketplace tools (e.g. Zalando zDirect), Excel, and BI platforms (e.g. Tableau) 

  • Strong understanding of trading metrics and KPIs (OEV, RNS, MD%, ROI, sell-through)
