The Team
The Global Consumer Brand Experience team is responsible for crafting immersive, multi-sensory environments that captivate consumers and drive brand loyalty. Through Retail Concept Design, Visual Merchandising, Windows & Showrooms and Store Experience, we elevate engagement across all channels and markets with a 360° approach.
Balancing creativity with commercial strategy, we ensure global consistency with local adaptability, shaping the physical identity and consumer experience across retail, wholesale, and pop-up environments. The Position
The Manager, Visual Merchandising is responsible for leading the development and execution of global visual merchandising strategies for dedicated business unit(s) and product categories. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience, working independently to define best practices and create new processes and standards while ensuring alignment with brand positioning, seasonal product strategy, and consumer engagement goals.
This position solves complex problems where precedent may not exist, using good judgment to select methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. The Manager contributes to defining VM standards and strategies, influencing execution across all global retail channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Store Design, Marketing, and Merchandising.
Additionally, the Manager serves as a resource for colleagues with less experience, guiding regional teams and ensuring premium and trend-forward visual merchandising execution worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement global VM strategies for dedicated product categories and business units, ensuring alignment with the brand’s overall direction.
Partner with Merchandising teams to create compelling product presentation strategies that enhance storytelling and drive commercial impact.
Lead the creation of seasonal VM guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all retail markets and formats.
Provide regional teams with training and guidance, optimizing in-store execution and alignment with global directives.
Oversee styling principles and mannequin presentation, ensuring premium and trend-forward displays.
Collaborate with Marketing and Store Design to support campaign launches, window displays, and in-store activations.
Conduct store visits to evaluate VM execution, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement in regional implementation.
Work cross-functionally to refine best practices and evolve global VM standards, ensuring innovative and commercially effective execution.
The Ideal Candidate
7-10 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, ideally within a global brand.
Strong understanding of Apparel and Accessories styling and presentation, with expertise in balancing creativity and commercial objectives.
Proven ability to work independently, solving complex VM challenges and contributing to new processes and standards.
Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple global deadlines and initiatives.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to gain cooperation across cross-functional and regional teams.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, with a willingness to travel internationally as needed.
