Position Summary:       Serves as liaison to communicate issues between the McDonough Distribution Center and Customers and

                                    the Bridgewater and New York operational and distribution associates.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Assists in resolving problems and follow-up information to ensure proper and timely shipment of goods.
  • Receives and responds to phone inquiries and email correspondence regarding inventory by purchase order numbers, lot numbers and in-transit numbers from all PVH divisions.
  • Makes arrangements for unusual procedures as needed for the expedition and flow of goods to customers. Investigates inventory questions i.e. delivery of goods, shipment of goods, receipt of goods, daily shipping label log and price ticket information.
  • Repackaging of good requests.  (Special Handling) Quality Inspection requests.
  • Utilizes PVH office associates to resolve and follow-up on problems and issues.
  • Secures and coordinates the instructions to ensure that proper price ticket seeding procedures are followed. 
  • Liaison between Traffic Department to coordinate special comments or messages as required for any scheduled and non-scheduled shipments.
  • Works closely with shipping & receiving office associates to coordinate information as needed.
  • Tracks, investigates, and communicates finding for vendor chargebacks. Interacts as needed with all departments to provide answers to all division inquires.
  • Makes arrangements for sample goods to be shipped as requested.
  • Coordinates flow of return goods within Distribution Center. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

            External:           Vendors, Customers, Retail Merchants, Corp. Traffic/Customer Service/Strategic Services, other PVH

                                    warehouses, Outside vendors

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Budgetary Responsibilities:

            1.         Assist with expedition of “hot” shipments to stores.

            2.         Must have excellent follow-up in regard to Special Handling projects.

Decision Making:          Must decide proper channels for communication flow depending on project at hand.

Resourcefulness/Creativity:       Will have to be creative at times to make special arrangements for unusual situations to ensure

                                                product arrives on time.

Environment:  Heavy PC & Telephone Volume

Qualifications & Experience:

            Experience:      Apparel and/or Distribution background is a plus

                Education:        HS Diploma minimum (Post - HS Education is preferred)

                Skills:                  Effective verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, good computer skills (Email,

                                    Word, Excel, MS Office)
