The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Global Store Design and Visual Experience department is responsible for providing consumers with the most compelling store experience through store design, visual merchandising and windows across all channels and markets. The Store Concept & Design team is a key function within the department, responsible for the design and experience of physical consumer touchpoints including Global retail, wholesale, and pop-ups.

Position Summary

The Senior Specialist, Store Experience plays a key role in translating the brand's global store experience vision into actionable in-store executions. Supporting the Sr. Manager, this role ensures that toolkits, activations, and consumer journeys are adapted and implemented effectively across Retail, Outlet, and Wholesale environments. The Senior Specialist acts as a subject-matter expert, driving execution excellence and collaborating closely with regional teams to bring premium, immersive experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Store Experience Execution

  • Support seasonal campaign rollouts, ensuring alignment with marketing and merchandising priorities.

  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising, Windows, Marketing, and Consumer Engagement teams to optimize in-store storytelling.

  • Support the creation and global rollout of seasonal and evergreen store experience toolkits and activation assets.

  • Partner with regional and cross-functional teams to adapt toolkits for market-specific needs, while maintaining global consistency.

  • Lead the integration of sensory branding elements (music, scent, visual cues) in alignment with the consumer journey framework.

  • Provide recommendations for store layout improvements, fixture updates, and sensory branding enhancements.

Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration

  • Support store segmentation initiatives, ensuring adaptation based on retail format and consumer expectations.

  • Assist in the training and development of store teams, ensuring consistency in brand execution.

  • Act as a key point of contact for regional teams, supporting adaptation, feedback, and execution of global strategies.

  • Brief and collaborate with external agencies and internal teams (Visual Merchandising, Consumer Engagement, Marketing) to align in-store storytelling with seasonal campaigns.

Seasonal Activation & Campaign Support

  • Support the development and execution of seasonal activations across all physical retail formats.

  • Ensure activations are aligned with Global Events, capsule launches, and regional marketing plans.

  • Coordinate toolkit deployment timelines and gather regional input for iterative improvement.

Insights & Reporting

  • Monitor store experience performance, analyzing consumer engagement, foot traffic, and conversion KPIs.

  • Provide insights on competitive retail trends and consumer behaviors to inform future activations.

  • Collect feedback from markets on toolkit performance and campaign execution.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative inputs to inform improvements and share best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in retail store experience, visual merchandising, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviors and in-store engagement strategies.

  • Proven experience in executing visual merchandising guidelines and store activations.

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience in reporting and insights gathering.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
