Art Director, NA Calvin Klein - TEMP TO PERM

The Art Director – Clavin Klein NA Marketing is responsible for the creative execution of assigned projects within the Calvin Klein North America marketing group, including emails, paid media, website, in-store collateral, and direct mail.

You will work collaboratively with the Global Calvin Klein Creative team and Commercial Regional North America team across graphic design, copywrite, marketing, visual experience, Store and Ecommerce leaders to influence and create impactful content and activations for the region.

And you will thrive in a consumer centric brand first culture, with  prior experience working across a global/regional matrixed operating model.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervises regional Graphic Designers and Copywriters to guide regional creative direction
  • Adapts global creative projects to create integrated marketing campaigns for NA Marketing channels
  • Acts as the primary liaison between NA Marketing and Global Marketing Creative team, reviewing all materials for approvals with Global Creative partners.
  • Review integrated campaigns with NA Leadership and NA Marketing Team and revises creative for commercial purposes as needed
  • Partners closely with NA Marketing channel leads and NA Marketing Integrated marketing to create cohesive regional content.
  • Works directly from briefs received by CRM, Media, Visual Marketing, and Ecom teams.

NA Integrated Marketing Team, NA CRM, NA Ecom, NA Media, North America Visual Merchandising, Global Marketing, Global Creative, Project Management, and Global Visual Merchandising.

     

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Direct: Graphic Designer and Copywriter

DECISION MAKING: Manages the decision-making process with regard to all projects, under the guidance of NA Marketing leadership.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines; must be flexible and solution-oriented with a positive attitude towards teamwork; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to changes in requests and deadlines.  This position requires superlative attention to detail and creativity as well as skillfully reconciling direction from both Global Marketing and North America Marketing teams.

ENVIRONMENT: Open team, collaborative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

           Experience:  7+ years’ experience in fashion/retail advertising

        

           Education:   Bachelor of Fine Arts

       Skills:      

  • Proficiency in Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
  • Must be a strategic thinker and creative problem solver      
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; must be detail oriented and highly skilled in time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great initiative with the ability to be a collaborative and team player
  • Able to anticipate needs and develop options
  • Superior follow through, organization, and attention to detail

Pay Range:$70.00 - $80.00

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
