About the Role

Oversee the day-to-day operations of our third-party logistics (3PL) services in ANZ and manage the Order Processing function. In this role, you will manage and optimize warehousing, inventory management, order processing and internal processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. You will also work closely with vendors, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless and smooth operations.

Based at our Head Office in the heart of the CBD, located at 388 George Street, this is a full-time, hybrid role, working from home and in the office weekly.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day supply chain process, from inbound logistics to inventory control, order fulfillment, and outbound shipments, ensuring high levels of efficiency and accuracy.  
  • Act as the conduit between the business and 3PL for all day-to-day order prioritisation and adhoc requests.  
  • Liaise with and facilitate strong communication and coordination between the 3PL and internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Sales, Planning, IT), ensuring any delivery issues are proactively flagged and resolved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards are met consistently.
  • Work closely with warehouse and inventory teams to maximise inventory accuracy,
  • Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time dispatch, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and cost per unit. Provide regular reports, analysis and any recommendations to senior management.
  • Review monthly cost analysis ensuring the average cost per unit remains consistent and drive reduction with the business.
  • Collaborate with the Outbound Logistics Manager to ensure the smooth handover of orders from 3PL to our suppliers.
  • Work with the Director, Warehouse & Distribution on business strategy to target opportunities to drive down our CODB, improve speed to market & enable growth. Identify and manage continuous improvement projects from a cost, process & customer experience perspective.
  • Prepare and communicate monthly Operations Dashboard including KPI & CPU tracking. Prepare and communicate monthly Continuous Improvement Tracker. Develop daily inventory reconciliation report ensuring audit compliance.
  • Participate in distribution and warehousing improvement projects as required.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

About You

  • Experience in 3PL operations or supply chain management, with a proven track record in warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships with third-party providers.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and experience of manual and digital systems.
  • Demonstrated collaboration, influencing and communication skills to work successfully across business functions and management levels.
  • A passion for continuous process improvement and attainment of KPI goals.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Superior attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work and think under pressure.
  • Takes initiative, proactive, self-starter.
