POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the execution of buying activities and ensure smooth communication with shops for Calvin Klein Underwear department, aiming to achieve sales turnover, gross margin profit and inventory target.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Responsible for merchandise mix and assortment planning with the agreed OTB.
Plan and execute buying activities of designated product categories to maximize sales, inventory turn, and profitability.
Monitor inventory, delivery and reordering for healthy stock level.
Planning of seasonal launches and allocation by region.
Manage pricing strategy and gross margin to secure profitability, in alignment with regional strategy, retail strategy and meeting local objectives and targets.
Work closely with Operations, Marketing and Visual Merchandising in monitoring the implementation quality & overall effectiveness and sell-thru of merchandise.
Provide internal service to sales operations and other supporting departments regarding merchandising.
Lead and provide product knowledge training to store in-charge on seasonal basis, communicate effectively with all stores to facilitate effective selling.
Drive the Calvin Klein Underwear business in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan regions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years buying experience in fashion retail
Education :
Degree holder or above in fashion and textile merchandising preferred
Skills:
Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese and English
Strong fashion retail sense with excellent analytical skills
A good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency at Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are a must
