The Team
Within the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team, our mission is to ensure the Global Full Price product strategy is adapted to meet the specific needs of the region to maximize DTC performance & wholesale growth, and to ensure operational readiness across the Full Price buying teams. This position serves as the backbone of the Full Price team, collaborating closely with Hubs and wider TH teams to drive overall commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s operational efficiency, strategic growth and overall success.
The Position
As DTC Buying Coordinator, you will be crucial to the Full Price Buying & Merchandising team. You will support the DTC Buying team on a day-to-day basis, providing administrative support to the buying team and to ensure that all aspects of the buying process are running smoothly and efficiently. This role is vital for achieving the Full Price Buying & Merchandising objectives and your work will be key to the commercial success of the TH brand.
Key Responsibilities:
· Seasonal buy preparation: Prepare seasonal overview and analysis to review with buying team ahead of buying season; provide support in seasonal analysis through hindsight documentation
· Buy placement & order book management: Assist with upload of the seasonal buy, ensuring timely entry of all seasonal orders to meet requested deadlines; ensure order book is updated and maintained, checking and providing overviews / summaries of all orders placed and feeding internal line lists with all relevant product information
· GTM / Product Launch support: Support the launch of new product, performing delivery tracking and on-site checks, ensuring product images and copy are available, and assisting in DTC launches
· Trading support: Update weekly reports and assist with ad-hoc requests; filing and reading all weekly Trade Reports
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with partners across planning & allocation, e-commerce, and visual merchandising, amongst many others
· Continuous improvement: Align with and provide feedback on new systems and processes to continually increase Buying team efficiency.
· Consumer knowledge: Conduct seasonal trend research and comp shop analysis. Undertake regular market visits, to understand trend, promotional activity, and other initiatives by our competitors, feeding back findings to the wider team
Requirements
· Ideally 1-2 years of working experience
· Commercial awareness with a keen interest in the fashion industry
· Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel is a must
· Highly adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment
· Demonstrates initiative and follows through completely on all aspects of a project
· Positive and can-do attitude; flexible approach to learning and supportive team mentality
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information both written and orally with more senior stakeholders and team members
· Fluent English both written and verbal
· Education: a Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
