CK eCom Operation Junior Specialist – Product Launch Marketplace

The Team

Within the eCommerce team, our mission is to build a commercially driven team with a strong focus on product, trading and business growth in order to elevate online performance. The position's team serves as the backbone of eCommerce, driving product focus, site merchandising, content and product launch to increase sales and conversion. The team collaborates closely with the wider CK teams to drive strategic alignment and commercial performance. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department’s overall success and strategic growth.

The Position

As a Junior Product Launch Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting seasonal product readiness for Marketplace channels. You will be responsible for collecting, validating, and managing product data—such as names, images, prices, and sizes—and ensuring everything is correctly set up in internal systems to enable successful go-live across Marketplace platforms.

You will gain hands-on experience working across eCommerce systems like SAP, PIM, and Tradebyte, and will assist in identifying and resolving any issues that may delay product activation. The role requires strong attention to detail and close collaboration with the Marketplace team, as well as coordination with Buying, Planning, and IT teams to ensure timely and accurate product setup.

Key Responsibilities

Product Readiness & Marketplace Coordination

  • Support seasonal product data onboarding and enrichment for Marketplace channels.

  • Monitor system updates and workflows to ensure all product attributes (e.g., color, size, price, imagery) are ready for go-live.

  • Track product go-live timelines and help prevent delays.

  • Coordinate with the Marketplace team to ensure accurate setup aligned with platform-specific requirements.

  • Learn to support product activation processes in Tradebyte and related systems.

Issue Resolution & System Support

  • Assist in identifying and resolving product data errors, such as missing imagery, incorrect pricing, or incomplete attributes.

  • Support the maintenance of product documentation and internal content pages (e.g., Confluence).

  • Learn to navigate and troubleshoot key systems like PIM,  SAP, and Tradebyte.

Reporting & Data Quality Checks

  • Conduct basic data checks and quality control using Excel (e.g., validating assortments, price lists, status updates).

  • Support simple reporting to track launch readiness or identify product delays.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in Buying, Planning, Content, and IT to gather required product information and ensure alignment across systems.

  • Participate in regular update meetings to provide progress updates and flag roadblocks early.

Measures of Success

  • Launch Accuracy: Products go live with complete and correct data, aligned with Marketplace requirements.

  • Timely Execution: Issues are identified and resolved efficiently to meet launch timelines.

  • System Familiarity: Growing proficiency in key tools such as Tradebyte, PIM, and SAP.

  • Team Collaboration: Clear and proactive communication with Marketplace and supporting teams.

Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience or internship in eCommerce, merchandising, or data-related fields.

  • Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas like VLOOKUP, IF, etc.); SQL knowledge is a plus.

  • Eagerness to learn digital tools and backend systems such as Tradebyte, PIM, or SAP.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to understand how eCommerce operations function.

  • Team player who enjoys working with others to solve operational challenges.
