The Product Specialist is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of assigned product category or division. You will engage with customers by offering expert guidance and styling advice, ensuring they make informed decisions while upholding the luxury standards of the brand. Your contributions will also include supporting your colleagues by training and upskilling the team to enhance both individual and store-wide sales performance.

About the Role

As a Visual Merchandising Specialist, you will be the in-store expert for visual presentation, styling and merchandising standards. You will ensure our visual proposition is executed to the highest standard, creating an inspiring shopping experience that drives commercial performance and reflects our premium brand positioning. 

Working closely with the Store Management team and wider store associates, you will coach and support colleagues to maintain exceptional visual standards while remaining customer focused and commercially aware. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Visual Merchandising  

  • Act as the in-store expert for visual merchandising and styling. 

  • Deliver exceptional visual standards across all product categories, fixtures, mannequins and windows in line with global brand guidelines. 

  • Ensure the sales floor is visually inspiring, commercially relevant and maintained throughout the trading day. 

  • Execute seasonal launches, campaigns, model store updates and visual directives accurately and on time. 

  • Maintain product density, size integrity and presentation standards to maximise sales opportunities. 

2. Commercial Performance 

  • Use commercial awareness and product knowledge to influence visual decisions that improve sales performance. 

  • Monitor best sellers, stock levels and customer shopping patterns, adapting visual presentation where appropriate. 

  • Work alongside the management team to identify opportunities to improve product placement and maximise commercial performance. 

  • Support stock replenishment to ensure displays remain full, impactful and customer ready. 

  • Use omnichannel tools and product knowledge to deliver an exceptional customer experience. 

3. Customer Experience 

  • Deliver outstanding customer service whilst leading by example on the shop floor. 

  • Inspire customers through engaging styling advice and outfit building. 

  • Ensure visual presentation enhances the customer journey and supports an effortless shopping experience. 

  • Promote premium service standards while maintaining a highly commercial sales floor. 

4. Team Collaboration & Capability 

  • Share visual merchandising knowledge and styling expertise with colleagues to build confidence and capability across the team. 

  • Support onboarding and coaching of new associates in visual standards and product presentation. 

  • Work collaboratively with the Store Management team and Field Visual Merchandising team to deliver brand initiatives. 

  • Act as a role model for store presentation, customer service and brand standards. 

  • Support stores with visual changes, launches and area initiatives where required. 

About You 

  • Previous retail experience within a premium or luxury environment. 

  • Demonstrable experience or a strong passion for visual merchandising, styling or fashion presentation. 

  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate visual standards into sales performance. 

  • Excellent eye for detail with high standards of presentation. 

  • Confident communicator who enjoys coaching and sharing knowledge with others. 

  • Customer focused with strong styling and selling skills. 

  • Able to work at pace whilst maintaining exceptional standards. 

  • Adaptable, organised and solutions focused. 

  • Acts with purpose, integrity and ownership. 

  • Passionate about fashion, trends and delivering an inspiring brand experience.
