PVH Legal 

PVH Legal supports PVH (NYSE: PVH) and our brands in ensuring that we maintain the highest moral, ethical and legal standards.  Lawyers across our regions, marketing and advertising teams, Centers of Expertise (COEs) and other critical areas work together closely to serve as strategic business partners to unlock the Power of PVH and connect to our consumers around the world.   Comprised of lawyers and other legal professionals from around the globe, we currently have COEs dedicated to:

The Position
The Head of Employment Law serves as the chief in-house attorney on employment and labor law matters at PVH leading a global team of employment lawyers who support PVH and our regional and brand teams. This role is both strategic and hands-on, partnering closely with the business, including its Executive Leadership Team and Human Resources, to navigate complex workforce issues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead employment law strategy at a global scale while directly influencing business decisions, company culture and risk management across over 40 markets for PVH and its iconic brands.  They are also a member of both the Legal and HR leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all employment and labor law matters globally covering offices, retail, warehouse and distribution, and other operations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team, HR and other stakeholders on workforce strategy, risk and compliance
  • Develop and implement global employment policies, practices and governance frameworks aligned with local laws and company values
  • Advise on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganizations and reductions in force
  • Manage employment-related litigation, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings worldwide, including oversight of outside counsel
  • Provide strategic guidance on union matters, works councils, collective bargaining and labor relations where applicable
  • Support transformations, transactional matters and global expansion initiatives from an employment and labor law perspective
  • Monitor and proactively respond to changes in employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Design and deliver training for leadership and HR teams on employment law, compliance and risk mitigation
  • Build and lead a high performing employment law center of expertise, fostering collaboration across all parts of the PVH enterprise

Key Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and demonstrated experience managing employment matters across multiple international regions
  • Experience supporting a global retail, apparel, consumer goods, beauty or similarly complex, employee-centric organization
  • Strong background advising senior executives and supporting all levels in a public company environment
  • Proven ability to balance legal risk with practical business solutions and make clear recommendations
  • Exceptional leadership, judgement, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing outside counsel and leading or mentoring legal team members
  • Ability to work independently and determine and develop strategies and scaled solutions to complex legal issues that are practical, clearly and timely communicated, and consistent with business objectives for a global company
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage demanding workload with competing priorities
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law required

Pay Range:$275,000 - $375,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible. This role is equity eligible.
