From its new state-of-the-art 23,500 sq. ft. facility in Amsterdam, PVHS strives to blend operational excellence with creative elevation to ensure best-in-class digital fashion consumer experiences, every day. The Position
Reporting into the PVH Studios Senior Creative Manager, the Imaging Manager role manages the technical elements of still-life and on-model photography and videography. This relates to the setup, creation and delivery of product detail page visual content, predominantly for digital e-commerce platforms.
The role balances commercial, brand, logistical and strategic considerations, focused on technical expertise and implementation. The primary objective is to facilitate shoot readiness and output of consistent imagery, accurate in product representation, in high volumes. The secondary purpose is to manage equipment inventory and drive scalability in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Governing the technical aspects of content creation against brand and commercial quality standards, the Imaging Manager closely collaborates with the functions of art direction, planning, production and post-production. A typical day would range from a lighting build up to conducting an equipment inventory check, from recording a lighting schematic to painting props, from calibrating white balance across multiple sets to troubleshooting computer system crashes.
The role requires a daily approach in effective communication across multiple functions, robust prioritisation skills, solution driven actions, nimble workflow efficiency, facilitation mindset and a leader in navigating through subjective ambiguity.
