POSITION SUMMARY:
The Mailroom Assistant, as a Union member, is responsible for the delivery of the mail and parcels as required and also is responsible for transporting any clothing and related items from one location to another.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
· Deliver newspapers and magazines for the senior executives of the company.
· Sort all newspapers and magazines and distribute to personnel.
· Must be able to lift up to 70 Lbs.
· Sort and deliver mail to the floors.
· Pick up all inter-office mail, bring to the mailroom, sort and redistribute.
· Distribute mail to the offices at the 205 building.
· Distribute all inbound packages via the Pitney Bowes System, indicates recipient name, floor and location where the package was dropped off.
· Send FedEx tracking information via email to all senders.
· Pick up all packages to be sent via messenger from the different floors as they are called in and bring to the mailroom.
· Pick up, pack and ship all outgoing Federal Express packages.
· Ensure all Federal Express forms are properly filled out; notify the clients if there is a problem.
· Assist clients in tracking packages.
· Move all racks of clothes between the 205 location.
· Move all packages and garment bags from the Public Relations department to the messenger center on the first floor and back as necessary.
· Collect all mail to be metered and ensure postage meter is properly maintained (ink, stamp, reel water, etc.)
· Sort mail international and domestic, certified return receipt, express mail, and registered mail.
· Ensure all mails are properly sealed.
· Ensure all mail has a zip code where applicable.
· Stamp all outgoing mail, keeping in view of all international and receipt mail using the US Postal Service rates, deliver mail to the post office, upon return deliver all receipts to the Mailroom Supervisor.
· Copy paper distribution.
· Carton breakdown/tie.
· Recycled paper – empty bins into hampers.
· Assist the Mail Center Manager and Supervisor with all employees moves within the building.
· Maintain hanger storage area and gather all hangers available for redistribution.
· Assist in changing toners and waste toners for printers in all floors.

Experience: Corporate Mailroom, dispatch experience. Knowledge of mail equipment, Pitney Bowes Inbound System (postage, FedEx, UPS). Minimum 1 year work experience.
Education:
Skills: Must be fluent in English with good organizational skills and a positive work ethic.

Pay Range:$36,100---$52,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
