Position Overview:

The Manager, Trim & Packaging, will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of Raw Materials to meet cost, quality and aesthetic for Calvin Klein Global with a focus on developing efficient, scalable processes to achieve operational excellence. The Manager is responsible for managing the overall process of developing and innovating new and seasonal trims that meet the designer’s aesthetic vision while balancing quality, cost and speed.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage seasonal RM portfolios and strategic developments, which support brand aesthetic.
  • Collaborationg with raw material suppliers, Design, Merchandising and Supply Chain Partners both near and offcshore  where applicable.
  • Ensure raw materail  suppliers and vendors are clear on seasonal direction and execution of raw materials throughout the development process.
  • Manage the digital and physical RM libraries.
  • Support data integrity within the PVH Supply environment.
  • Partner closely with cross functional partners to trouble shoot issues and escalte when and where apppropriate .
  • Create strong relationships with the vendor and supplier matrix while maintaining clear knowledge of all their strengths, capabilities, specialties, and innovations.
  • Create and update Design teams on creative toolboxes.
  • Manage packaging development milestones with suppliers and internal partners.
  • Track samples and approval status while maintaining necessary timelines
  • Assist in developing new launch timelines
  • Liaison with creative, marketing, supply and merchandising to help identify opportunities for process optimization and best prices
     
  • Responsible for all relevant testing, problem solving and finding alternatives when needed.
  • Work with Sr Manager and/or Director to ensure a smooth global raw materials strategy.

What You Will Bring:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel manufacturing
  • Managing a junior level associate or intern

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Intermediate/advanced technical trim knowledge
  • Microsoft office/PLM/3D technologies
  • Proficient in raw materail sourcing and production lifecycle process
  • Understanding of trim vendor and COO competetencies
  • Advanced Trim Raw Material development process and understanding
  • Data Analytics
  • Project Management
  • Cost, Speed and CR optimization
  • Actively seek continues improvement and a solution orientated mindset

Pay Range:$101,300---$137,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. PVH is committed to providing a market-competitive total rewards package to eligible associates, which includes diverse and robust health and insurance benefits to meet the varied needs of our associates and an above-market 401(k) contribution to help our associates save for retirement. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
