Marketing Data Engineer
The Team
This position will form part of the Digital Consumer Operations team, which is responsible for all digital consumer operations, with a mission to help deliver best-in-class digital experiences across all markets and DTC channels. This team plays a critical role in providing the insights, tools and capabilities needed to drive commercial growth, consumer engagement and retention through excellence in customer experience, digital product development, and eCommerce and consumer analytics. This team collaborates across multiple functions, including the Brand teams, global and regional IT and the Global Analytics team to enhance the digital consumer experience, providing each brand with data-driven actionable insights to inform their strategy, commercial priorities and roadmaps.
The Position
As Marketing Data Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that enables marketing analytics, campaign optimization, personalization, and automation across PVH EMEA’s digital channels. You will develop robust ETL pipelines, design efficient data models, and build integrations with a range of first- and third-party platforms. Your work will empower marketing, CRM, and analytics teams to measure performance, create intelligent segments, and execute data-driven campaigns at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Integration & ETL
Ingest multi-channel data from platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Marketo, and CRM tools into centralized data environments.
Design and maintain ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow, dbt, or AWS Glue to ensure clean, timely, and analytics-ready data.
Ensure seamless connectivity across clickstream, transactional, and campaign data sources.
2. Data Modeling & Schema Design
Create scalable, query-optimized data models using star/snowflake schemas tailored for marketing and performance analysis.
Implement slowly changing dimensions for evolving customer attributes.
Optimize data storage using partitioning, clustering, and file formats such as Parquet or ORC.
3. Analytics & Reporting Automation
Enable automated dashboards and reports in tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
Surface key marketing KPIs such as CAC, ROAS, LTV, and campaign performance metrics.
Build end-to-end automated data workflows to ensure stakeholders always have access to the latest insights.
4. Personalization & Segmentation
Develop customer segments based on behavioral, transactional, and engagement data.
Feed segments into personalization and campaign platforms for real-time targeting.
Support machine learning features such as recency/frequency/monetary scoring.
5. Data Quality & Governance
Establish monitoring for pipeline reliability, schema evolution, and data accuracy.
Define lineage and ownership to ensure full transparency of data sources and uses.
Implement privacy compliance rules for GDPR and CCPA in collaboration with Legal and Privacy teams.
6. Collaboration & Enablement
Translate marketing stakeholder requirements into technical data solutions and reporting logic.
Document pipeline processes, data definitions, and troubleshooting procedures.
Support non-technical users in SQL querying and data interpretation through training and coaching.

Clear documentation, reduced troubleshooting time, and increased team self-sufficiency
Ideal candidate
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or related field
3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in a marketing or eCommerce setting
Strong experience with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt, AWS Glue) and SQL development
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for pipeline automation
Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data warehouse best practices
Familiarity with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Salesforce/Marketo) and analytics tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and privacy-compliant data handling
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
Experience working in agile or fast-paced digital organizations is a plus
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
