THE TEAM

Global Supply Planning area of the TH Supply department, our mission is to deliver the right product at the right time in every commercial region. This team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with commercial markets and supply sourcing regions to drive regional growth forward. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department's operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.

The Global Supply Planning team consists of an offshore planning team, located in offices in Turkey, the ISC region and Hong Kong, and an onshore planning team based in the Amsterdam headquarters.

The onshore Global Supply Planning team is split into:
The HQ supply planning team focuses on the end-to-end planning and the global buy execution of our Full price & Outlet collections. We have dedicated planners for each business unit, being Menswear, Womenswear, Kids, Close to Body, Footwear & Accessories, Tommy Jeans and Outlet, as well as dedicated planners that collaborate with our commercial regions being the Americas, APAC and EMEA. Additionally, this team is responsible for Liability management, Monthly direct sales business (Never Out of Stock NOS & Best Seller Replenishment BSR), Sample Management and Global Operations.

The Global Operations team is responsible for issuing Non-EMEA Tommy Hilfiger purchase orders, ensuring data accuracy, and monitoring the licensed markets till shipment for the on-time delivery KPI.

The Sample Team collaborates closely with BU teams, sample warehouse and other central teams to manage sample Purchase Orders, monitor delivery status, and maintain data accuracy across systems (Excel, Centric PLM, SAP).

 

           
           
THE POSITION

As Samples & Global Ops Coordinator, you will mainly manage sample orders, monitor delivery status, and maintain data accuracy across systems (Excel, Centric PLM, SAP), ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of salesman samples to support seasonal sell-in and digital assets creation.

You will also create, manage and track seasonal purchase orders, as well as analyze global orderbook across systems (Excel, Centric PLM, SAP, Infor Nexus) by translating data into information that creates transparency and supports decision making for Key Brand, Market and Supply stakeholders globally.

The coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Planning team, local and offshore Production teams, Inbound teams, Regions and Market stakeholders.








KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop SMS plans based on sample fabric bookings, calendar milestones and timelines, aligned with regional needs and warehouse processing capacity.
  • Create SMS PO overviews to support the invoicing management & forecasting to finance
  • Maintain up-to-date delivery status across systems and provide standard and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders
  • Identify inefficiencies in reporting and workflows and work closely with your team to improve operational accuracy
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely and complete sample deliveries
  • Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and supporting process improvements
  • Manage PO creation and allocation to secure on-time sample delivery for sell-in and asset creation
  • Manage PO creation for Specials (Lab), Reorders (BSR) and seasonal (NOS, Full Price, Outlet)
  • Support and optimize operational tasks and processes

  • Timely escalation and resolution of risks to minimize business impact
  • On Time SMS availability and communication around all calendar milestones
  • Accurate and timely reporting and data analysis
  • Meeting all PO creation / maintenance deadlines


    REQUIREMENTS
  • Great analytical skills using Excel, SAP FMS, Infor Nexus, Tableau or comparable systems and tools
  • High level of accuracy and result oriented problem-solving skills
  • Accountable and independent working attitude
  • Experience of working in a fast & dynamic team or organization
  • Organized and proactive working approach
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity
  • Data driven and analytical mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Curious to learn, being able to work independently within responsibilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ working experience in the supply planning and / or supply operations.
