Position Summary:

This is a leadership role managing technical area of SAP AFS (PVH ERP) and related application by leading SAP projects implementation and Integrations area with an ability to collaborate across functional and technical areas.

The Senior Manager ERP, is responsible for building, developing, and managing the Asia regional ERP team. The span of responsibility is regional and supports the teams and applications for all brands across all markets in Asia. The role will partner with regional business teams and global application owners to ensure application capabilities continue to drive business value. The role will need to ensure that any new deployments, application development, support approach & operations, platform health, change request management, build/upgrade management are not disruptive to the Asia businesses.

The candidate will be required to lead complex initiatives/projects in collaboration with various internal stakeholders & vendors, ensuring successful implementation through solid management of the SDLC, while following the PVH IT internal project management practices. The ability to understand the retail business operational requirements and propose a suitable technical solution that is consistent with PVH internal audit and compliance guidelines is also important.

The individual in this role will be the direct liaison to Asia business teams as well as process and technology partners across PVH brands, helping to analyze, craft, and prioritize solutions to our consumer’s most impactful problems. This role will be to partner with other Product Managers, engineering teams as well as external partners to drive end-to-end execution enabling and measuring business value.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of The Job

Build lasting Partnership

  • Partner with global and regional IT technology teams to adopt best practices, align technologies with business use cases and coordinate cross-functional plans and activities.

  • Partner with the respective business counterparts in the development of the short & long term, strategic systems plan, including justification, management & execution of supporting initiatives.

  • Work closely with external vendors and partners to drive successful execution of projects.

Manage business needs, provide technical expertise and input into product roadmap

  • Act as a technical expert on ERP related systems

  • Understand PVH’s ERP Technology strategies and provide design recommendations based on long-term IT technical strategy.

  • Stay current with modern platforms, toolkits & methods.

  • Oversee the translation of functional requirements into technical specifications and system integration diagrams.

  • Coordinate new capabilities and feature prioritization with business owners and product managers. 

  • Lead and/or consult in project planning sessions with business teams, business analysts, and team members to analyze requirements and design system solutions.

  • Design, develop, deploy, and manage solutions and technology standards, in adherence to PVH IT policies and process controls. Ensure the applications are audited and pass the annual audit procedures.

  • Actively collaborate and brainstorm possible solutions, validate against decision criteria and identify the best fit business solution.

  • Develop integration solutions including enhancements and interfaces, functions, and features.

  • Ensure ERP systems architecture and integration maps are kept relevant and optimized.

  • Define and measure key operational metrics including ERP system performance, incidents, recurring issues and identifying root cause.

  • Collaborate and participate in discussions with Infrastructure & Platform teams to ensure that the environment and application are operating in optimal fashion.

  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, including regulatory & privacy driven changes to respective countries, as well as monitor compliance.

  • Ensure continuous improvement is embedded into daily operations and derive metrics to showcase continuous improvement in process, configuration changes, deployments etc.

Deploy solution and manage project implementation

  • Partner with project leads and project teams to ensure successful project delivery based on agreed upon scope, time, and budget.

  • Advise on system options, risks, cost versus benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals.

  • Ensure due diligence on review on detailed Functional Specification Document and Technical Specification Document to deliver business requirement. 

  • Review and provide feedback to test lead on test scripts/scenarios.

  • Ensure that all approvals are obtained before starting any consultancy or development work.

  • Govern and oversee deliverables from internal resources and/or external vendor:

Vendor engagement

  • Provide input on SOW’s and contracts to engage external consultants and vendor partners.

  • Partner with business and vendors to research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

  • Partner with external partners as needed on planned releases, operation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all the ERP technology applications.

  • Collaborate with vendors and help lead deployment plan reviews, engineering code reviews, application architecture reviews etc. as needed.

  • Monitor vendor partner performance to agreed outcomes and ensure compliance to PVH IT policies.

  • Monitor the use of outside contractors daily, as well as prepare forecasts of future utilization for on-time project completion.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by manager or IT leadership.

  • The position is based out of our Hong Kong office, with periodic travel to our other PVH locations as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Skills & Experience:       

  • 10+ years of experience working in retail industry with a focus on technology.

  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver ERP solutions.

  • Hands on experience on SAP S4HANA required.

  • Understand End-to-end Retail and Supply Chain processes including Market to Deliver, Order to Cash and Procure to Pay

  • Understand vendor integrations that enable multiple channel distributions.

  • Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Passionate about building great products, innovation and solving complex customer problems.    

  • Proven experience in prioritizing, presenting, and executing plans with inherent change management practices, while meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints with a local or international scope.

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, thoroughness, and quality towards assigned tasks/goals in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and integrating multiple internal and/or external teams including outside technology and consulting design/technology agencies across multiple countries.

  • Uses innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of problems across technologies.

  • Ability to understand the global business applications and technical platforms which support the PVH technology requirements while managing the regional impacts and implications.

  • Experience working in matrixed teams responsible for influencing at all levels within the organization.

  • Excellent written, verbal communications skills, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to influence decision making at all levels within an organization.

  • Ability to deliver results working in a variety of project methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts to varied audiences.

  • Must be able to deal with a high degree of unknown and iteratively evolve solutions and platforms.

  • English fluency is a must.

Education:  

Degree in Information Systems / Computer Science, or specialized training certification, or equivalent work experience required.
