The Position
The IT Compliance Manager is a key role responsible for leading the IT Compliance team in ensuring that the organization's information technology (IT) systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role primarily focuses on supporting IT SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance and acts as a liaison between the IT department and external audit teams. Additionally, the IT Compliance Manager oversees and participates in a variety of audit projects, including ECOM Audits, GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliance, operational audits, and statutory audits for Europe. This position plays a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity and security of the company's IT infrastructure and data.
Key Responsibilities:
IT SOX Compliance:
Oversee the implementation and execution of IT controls and processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of IT systems to identify potential compliance gaps.
Collaborate with Control & Process Owners to remediate any identified deficiencies or weaknesses.
Audit Liaison:
Serve as the escalation point of contact for external audit teams, facilitating the audit process and ensuring a smooth interaction between auditors and the PVH Europe Technology department.
Collaborate with external auditors to support statutory audits specific to European regulatory requirements.
Audit Compliance:
Act as the key point of contact for different PVH Audit Programs – e.g – GDPR, ECOM (E-commerce) audits, ensuring that online business activities meet compliance requirements.
Support with Internal Audit initiatives for operational audits to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems and processes.
Policy Development and Implementation:
Develop, maintain, and enforce IT compliance policies and procedures in alignment with relevant regulations and standards.
Recommend improvements and process optimizations to the PVHE stakeholders to enhance overall compliance.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments for existing and new applications that are deemed critical and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
Reporting:
Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for key PVHE stakeholders.
Communicate IT compliance findings and action plans to executive and senior leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with various departments and stakeholders, fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
The Ideal Candidate
Extensive experience in IT compliance, IT audit, and SOX compliance, with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience.
Top of Form
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Business).
Proven experience in managing and leading a team, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of GDPR, ECOM, and relevant European statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in risk management, audit methodologies, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Project management skills to plan and execute audits and compliance initiatives effectively.
