The Team

The Global Communications Team (GCT), part of the Global Consumer Engagement team, is responsible for developing all consumer-facing communication strategies for both Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans. The GCT’s Vision is to:

  • Consistently drive brand desirability and relevance.
  • Build consumer love, desire and trust for our products.
  • Amplify the impact of all brand initiatives and projects through global press. Engage with the target audience across all communication touchpoints.

Way of Working

The GCT team is responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders including global and regional teams, as well as business partners. They will work closely with respective stakeholders to ensure all communications strategies are effectively implemented on a regional/local level while delivering a consistent brand message and elevating the brand’s exposure. By leveraging each other’s expertise and creativity, the team members work together to develop and execute integrated communication and product seeding strategies that move the needle with audiences around the world.

The Tommy Hilfiger brand DNA is at the heart of this team – the signature red, white and blue, iconic lifestyle meets innovative storytelling across the GCT. The team delivers on every initiative with the single Shared Objective to win at consumer engagement through every touch point, message, and decision.

The Position

The Specialist, Communications Assets & Operations, TH Global is a crucial supportive function on the GCT. The role enables the smooth operations of the team and supports the work taking place across all regions. This person assists markets when necessary to ensure all communication and assets are aligned to the brand’s unique DNA across Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans.

This role is responsible for creating tools that consistently build brand desirability, relevance, and engagement to win with the global consumer – while working directly with and supporting all hubs, regions, and relevant stakeholders. Success in this role looks like delivering powerful, cut-through seasonal communications assets.

This position will work closely with Marketing teams and with peers on the GCT. With a strategic mindset and big picture thinking, the role will capture and create communication assets that will be used both internally and externally for Tommy Hilfiger. This position requires excellent organization skills and tight end-to-end management, as well as efficient delivery and approvals of assets – from brief to sign off.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Drive the development and innovation of seasonal, annual and key program communications assets incl. playbooks and press materials – from briefing, facilitation and distribution to all hubs and regions. Think: “How can we reach our target audience is new and exciting ways?”
  • Collaborate with GCT, Marketing teams and EIM Product Operations Managers to deliver communication assets that represent upcoming collections and drive brand initiatives.
  • Own and manage the creative process – from the initial concept development to the creative reviews and debriefs with agencies.
  • Create various communications assets including (but not limited to):
    • Seasonal playbooks
    • Press materials including press releases, press-kits, e-mailers, lookbooks
    • Brand videos, images, (executive) presentations
    • Event collateral
    • Photoshoots – concept development, crew selection, creative review, styling, logistics and finalizing end assets.
  • Manage and create briefing templates and processes to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Oversee the complex process flow, from approval routing to follow-ups and end delivery.
  • Responsible for updating the Brand Portal, management of the Newsroom.tommy.com platform and ensuring tommy.com press newsroom is up-to-date.
  • Hands-on support in the creation and delivery of annual, seasonal and key program communication that can be translated into tactical executions for hubs and regions.
  • Daily point-of-contact for all hubs, regions and teams for all communication requests.
  • Organizational support including organizing briefing sessions, ensuring materials are prepared when needed, reprinting, etc. 
  • Partner with Senior Manager, Global Communications on updating the communication budgets and PO creation.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and create effective communication assets.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Professional degree in a related field with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Enthusiastic to connect with global teams and build excitement around global communications plans.
  • Creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas while balancing brand consistency.
  • Hands-on and problem-solving mentality.
  • Strong project management skills: able to manage multiple timelines, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Naturally structured and highly organized, ensuring smooth execution from planning through delivery.
  • Result and detail oriented, with a drive for everyday excellence and the highest standards of quality.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
