The Team

The Corporate Financial Systems organization is responsible for the end-user support and security, data governance, audit and ongoing improvements in coordination with IT of the company’s financial budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and reporting tools globally.  The group works with all regional and divisional Finance organizations as well as corporate Finance and IT teams to ensure the financial systems perform appropriately to meet business needs as well as comply with all relevant audit and regulatory requirements.

The Position

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will focus on Financial Systems and will be responsible for multiple business solutions, Oracle Cloud Financial systems, such as FCCS and Essbase, as well as SAP Financial systems, Group Reporting and SAP Analytics cloud. The position will interact with Global FP&A and Accounting teams to support the use of all financial systems. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst offers valuable business support, while reviewing current systems for improvements in technology and process and communicates effectively in order to ensure all process updates, key deliverables, and timelines. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Problem solves issues reported by business teams via detailed analysis and resolution in conjunction with IT as needed

  • Oversees and handles metadata in all Corporate Financial systems

  • Supports and trains the business teams in their understanding of the systems and capabilities

  • Is responsible for the day-to-day functional administration of SAP and Oracle Financial Systems

  • Has ownership of all financial systems functions as they relate to supporting the monthly close, forecasting and budgeting

  • Monitors system functions and perform corrections when needed in conjunction with IT

  • Conducts system validations and testing for patches and other updates in conjunction with IT

  • Partners with Finance, Transformation and IT to enable new financial systems capabilities to meet business needs

  • Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures as they relate to financial systems, inclusive of SOX requirements

Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-8 years relevant experience.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree


Skills:

  • Must be detail oriented with a high degree of problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrates proficiency in performing a wide range of tasks, responding to changes in direction and priorities and accepting new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, (high degree of collaboration across multiple departments).

  • Experience with supporting business users in a high-speed environment. 

  • Background in Accounting or Finance preferred, with experience in the design and implementation and administration of financial systems and applications.

  • Experience with creating and maintaining system documentation and audit reviews. 

  • Ability to develop new processes and drive improvements for various finance departments. 

  • Must be able to prioritize responsibilities to ensure alignment to deadlines.

  • SAP S4, FMS, SAP Analytics Cloud and Group Reporting.

  • Highly proficient in Excel.      

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with firm deadlines and support of a global user community.
