The team
The Data Science Intern will be part of the PVH Corp data science team, contributing to the development of innovative digital data products by leveraging advanced AI and machine learning models.

A day in the life of our Data Science intern.
As a Data Science Intern, you will work alongside our experienced data science team, contributing to exciting projects that drive real business impact. Here are your key responsibilities:
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to support model development.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover insights and trends within large datasets.
• Collaborate with the team on research and development of machine learning models, exploring new techniques and methodologies.
• Support the development and maintenance of model production pipelines to ensure efficient deployment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools in AI and machine learning, sharing knowledge with the team.

Be all of you
• Strong foundation in data analysis, statistics, and machine learning concepts.
• Proficient in programming languages commonly used in data science like Python and SQL, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with machine learning models, including tree-based models (such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and LightGBM), network-based models (such as ANN, RNN, LSTM, and CNN), and clustering models (such as k-means); knowledge of transformers is a plus.
• Demonstrates curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for exploring data-driven insights.
• Capable of working independently, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Internship must-haves
• Located within approximately one hour traveling time from the Amsterdam Office
• Eligible to work within the EU
• Must be enrolled in full time continuing education
• Available from 01 Feb 2025 for a 6-month full time program
• Our internship program primarily focuses on practical experience and skill development; therefore, we are not able to support research focused internships.
