POSITION SUMMARY:

The Demand Planner is responsible for managing the end-to-end demand plan for Man’s UW and Apparel across all brands and business divisions. This role owns the creation and maintenance of accurate demand forecasts, analysis of sales trends and market data, and alignment of inventory strategies to support optimal service levels and inventory quality.

The Demand Planner will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Sales, Planning, and Inventory Management to proactively identify risks and opportunities. Blue Yonder (JDA) forecasting software will be leveraged to drive forecast accuracy, support purchasing and product development decisions, and ensure alignment with the division’s strategic and financial objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demand Forecasting: Develop, maintain, and continuously improve demand forecasts using Blue Yonder, incorporating historical sales trends, promotional calendars, market insights, and cross-functional input.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex data sets to identify demand drivers, seasonality patterns, risks, and potential disruptions to forecast accuracy.
  • Inventory Optimization: Partner with Inventory Planning to ensure optimal inventory levels that balance customer service, sell-through, and profitability.
  • Reporting & Communication: Own reporting and communication of key performance indicators, including Forecast Accuracy, Excess Inventory, Fill Rates, Forecast vs. Financial Estimates, and OTB performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Inventory Planning, and Wholesale/Retail Planning teams to align demand plans, validate assumptions, and proactively address risks and opportunities.
  • System & Process Management: Utilize Blue Yonder and internal reporting tools (Power BI, SAP Sales Analysis) to support forecasting and analytics. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support to senior leadership and cross-functional teams to enable data-driven business decisions.
  • Core OTB Management: Create and maintain Core OTBs, validating shipment flow and POS trends to ensure appropriate inventory coverage.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Demand Plan will feed the Budget.

Primary decision making will revolve around adjusting projected future needs which will impact buys, shipments, inventory turn and profitability.

RESOURCEFULNESS:

Must be able to creatively and efficiently solve problems by utilizing available resources, adapting to challenges and finding innovative solutions.

ENVIRONMENT:

Our environment is extremely fast paced with constantly changing priorities. This individual will need to be able to manage various tasks and responsibilities at the same time.

QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in demand planning, supply chain, wholesale planning or other relevant industry experience
  • Experience in demand planning and forecasting, preferably within wholesale environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management practices
  • Experience with collaborative or integrated planning processes required.
  • Experience in supply chain software preferred (JDA/Blue Yonder or similar tool)           
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis
  • Strong proficiency in system management
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles and inventory management practices
  • Strong business judgment, planning and allocation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated individual with a solid attention to detail
  • A team player with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain accuracy in all work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • JDA/Blue Yonder Demand experience highly desirable

Pay Range:$82,500---$117,100

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
