About the Role:

As the Director of Analytics Architecture & Administration, you will provide enterprise leadership for PVH’s business intelligence strategy and play a pivotal role in transforming how data is used to power decision-making across the company. This role leads the adoption and administration of a new Power BI tenant as part of the PVH Data Powerhouse initiative, PVH’s enterprise-wide modernization program that is consolidating legacy BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, SSRS) into a unified, governed, and scalable analytics ecosystem on Microsoft Fabric/Azure with defined integration points to AWS.

You will be accountable for the enterprise architecture, semantic modeling standards, and platform performance of Power BI, ensuring the environment is designed, governed, and optimized to maximize business value. In partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Data Product Owners, and senior business leaders, you will shape and enforce BI standards, oversee the migration and rationalization of reports and models, and drive self-service adoption across PVH’s global brands (Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger) and corporate functions.

This is a Director-level leadership role that requires not only deep technical expertise but also strategic vision, executive influence, and people leadership. You will lead a dedicated team of platform administrators, engineers, and BI developers, set enterprise-wide standards, and champion the Data Powerhouse transformation at the highest levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do

Enterprise Platform Leadership

  • Define and execute the enterprise strategy for Power BI adoption, administration, and governance under the Data Powerhouse program.

  • Provide executive-level guidance on BI architecture and semantic modeling strategy, ensuring alignment with PVH’s enterprise data strategy.

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for BI platform success, reporting adoption, performance, and efficiency outcomes to VP-level stakeholders.

Platform Architecture & Governance

  • Establish tenant-level architecture, workspace topology, licensing strategy, and integration patterns with Fabric/OneLake, Azure, Databricks, and AWS.

  • Set and enforce global guardrails for security (RLS/OLS), sensitivity labels, data loss prevention, and external sharing.

  • Ensure BI platform alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Semantic Modeling & Standardization

  • Direct the enterprise adoption of certified, domain-aligned semantic models with shared dimensions, KPI contracts, and calculation groups.

  • Maintain a 1:3–4 semantic model-to-report ratio to maximize reuse, consistency, and performance, reducing redundant datasets and enabling scalable analytics.

  • Champion semantic model standards as the foundation of PVH’s trusted reporting and analytics ecosystem.

Migration & Rationalization

  • Lead the enterprise-wide migration and rationalization of legacy BI content into Power BI, ensuring efficiency, performance, and governance.

  • Oversee the structured decommissioning of legacy assets while guaranteeing business continuity and stakeholder confidence.

  • Partner with Data Product Owners, regions, and business units for technical sign-off and business UAT during market and domain rollouts.

  • Performance & Reliability Engineering

  • Establish and monitor enterprise SLAs for semantic model refresh success, report load times, and query performance.

  • Implement telemetry, observability, and automation to proactively manage capacity, ensure reliability, and optimize cost efficiency.

  • Provide executive transparency into platform health, capacity, and user adoption trends.

Self-Service Enablement & Adoption

  • Sponsor and govern self-service maturity programs across all six Data Powerhouse domains.

  • Oversee enablement activities including training programs, office hours, design reviews, and dataset/report certification.

  • Partner with senior leaders to drive cultural transformation in data use, building confidence in analytics at all levels of the business.

DevSecOps & Automation

  • Champion DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, and automated monitoring for Power BI and Fabric.

  • Oversee automation initiatives for capacity monitoring, cost optimization, and issue detection, ensuring reliable enterprise operations.

  • Drive adoption of release pipelines, blue/green deployment strategies, and version control across analytics teams.

Leadership & Influence

  • Lead and mentor a team of Power BI administrators, engineers, and report developers, setting clear performance standards and career pathways.

  • Influence cross-functional senior stakeholders (IT, Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain) to align on BI strategy, governance, and adoption goals.

  • Represent the Data Powerhouse initiative to executive leadership, communicating business impact and platform value.

Impact Metrics

  • Adoption: Year-over-year growth in daily active users; measurable increase in self-service maturity across domains.

  • Rationalization: ≥ 60–80% reduction in redundant reports; consistent achievement of 1:3–4 semantic model-to-report ratio.

  • Performance: 95th percentile report load time < 3–5 seconds; semantic model refresh success > 99%.

  • Governance: 100% of certified datasets documented in Purview with KPI definitions and lineage; zero critical audit findings.

  • Efficiency: Reduced cost per active user; optimized capacity utilization across Fabric and Power BI Service.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise BI strategy and architecture, with proven success leading large-scale analytics transformations.

  • Deep expertise in Power BI, Fabric/OneLake, Azure (Synapse/SQL/ADF), and Databricks, with strong knowledge of semantic modeling, DAX optimization, and KPI standardization.

  • Track record of driving BI platform migrations, rationalization programs, and adoption at a global enterprise scale.

  • Strong DevOps leadership for analytics (GitHub/ADO, CI/CD, automation).

  • Experience managing teams, budgets, and vendor partners in a global enterprise context.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders to drive adoption of enterprise standards and platforms

Preferred

  • Experience with Collibra, Hana, and ERP/retail systems.

  • Familiarity with Copilot for Power BI and responsible AI governance.

  • Background in retail, supply chain, or consumer analytics.

  • Experience with multi-cloud strategy and solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP).
