Position Summary:
The position will be responsible for leading the regional FP&A function and plays a critical role in supporting senior management and regional function heads, providing strategic advice from a financial point of view to facilitate strategic decision making for both Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger Asia Pacific region.
Reporting to SVP Finance, the incumbent will lead the regional financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure the completeness and accuracy of management reporting. Participating in monthly business reviews, regular updates, and other strategic projects and business development plans and will work closely with the key stakeholders including the senior management, country finance leads, and regional / Corporate HQ teams, as well as external parties.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job:
Provide leadership and direction to regional FP&A team for all financial matters and requests, including strategic planning, budgeting and forecast process for the region and other strategic initiatives
Serve as a key member to provide decision support analysis, scenario reporting, modelling financial impacts of initiatives to support management decisions
Proactively provide ongoing, timely, accurate financial analysis of key business drivers and KPIs measurements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., marketing, integrated business planning, Operation Supply, IT , HR) as a trusted finance partners to drive and support strategic goals, challenges, and opportunities, while providing financial guidance to support decision making
To counsel management and business heads on related financial issues that affect business short term and long term decisions.
Identify and implement ongoing process & report improvement for the organization and target to deliver process simplification and driving efficiencies
Work closely with senior business partners for the development of forecasts to drive business decisions
Manage the financial modelling and productivity analysis of the business to determine the dynamics that drive company performance
Drive process improvements using technology and other value-added techniques to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of financial reporting processes
Support any ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required for business
Qualifications & Experience
Experience:
10+ years of related experience
More senior candidates can be considered for Senior Director level.
Education:
Bachelor Degree Required
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Strong financial acumen; understanding of how businesses work and its financial implications. Resourceful in proposing alternatives; ability to dig deep to understand the business performance drivers; analytical and strategical, strong problem solving skills, weigh financial risks and explore options suitable for different scenarios;
Strong project and time management skills; ability to plan tasks and timetable in advance, manage and coordinate timetable with multiple countries and business units; timely follow up with countries to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
Influential and effective communicator, who communicates instructions and explanations to business leaders and finance teams in a clear manner; active participation in discussions; collaborates and not afraid to make information-based decisions for the best interest of the Company
Strong financial system knowledge and Excel and PowerPoint competence; ability to structure the components within the financial system to generate the reports and analyses for management reporting purposes; a thorough understanding of the connection between financial system and other systems (such as retail system, merchandise system and warehouse system); capture data in various formats and comparisons, and to translate into reportable formats.
Fluent in English a must, and preferably good Mandarin and Cantonese language skills; multicultural; comfortable working with people at all levels in all Asia Pacific cultures.
