Outbound & Capacity Planner Full Price
The Team
Within the Omni Planning & Allocation team, our mission is to drive commercial trade, financial planning, demand forecasting, and allocation & replenishment of inventory across all channels and categories, whilst setting strategic guardrails on product promotions and markdown decisions to maximize margin and profitability. This position's team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with Buying/Merchandising, DTC Channel teams (eCom, FP, Outlet), Hubs, and Finance to ensure that all inventory and product decisions are aligned with company-wide planning and allocation decisions. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department's operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.
The Position
As Outbound & Capacity Planner Full Price you will be crucial to the Omni Planning and Allocation Team, driving vendor inbound, warehouse processing, and site/store intake capacity plans for the full price & ecom sales channels, including full-price stores, concession partners, and e-commerce. You will work closely with Merchandise Planning, Buying, Hub/branch planning, Planning Operations and Supply Chain teams to achieve optimal planning for order processing and allocation/shipping within physical and digital locations, ensuring stock is on time to stores in the right volumes at the right time to optimize profitability. This role is vital for achieving the Omni Planning and Allocation objectives and your leadership will be key to the commercial success of the CK brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inbound & DC Capacity Planning: Manage inbound & outbound forecast with Supply & Planning Operations teams. Working closely with these stakeholders to review capacity planning from both inbound and outbound perspective. Ensure capacity forecasts are aligned with planning consumer demand WSSI.
• DC processing planning: Collaborate with Supply Chain, Planning Operations, and Merch Planning teams to plan, reforecast and prioritize product DC inbound and product warehouse processing, ensuring timely allocation and dispatch based on demand and capacity. Ensure orderbook matches to demand plans – cross checking to ensure there are no gaps
• Outbound Capacity Planning: Review store/site inbound capacities and ensuring these are aligned with commercial needs, review on a seasonal, monthly, and weekly basis and work with both branch planning and Supply Chain DC teams if any amendments are needed. Partner with hub/ecom store/site teams to set up & maintain front of house and back of house store (and ecom warehouse) capacities; ensure with planning financial sales targets are aligned to stores/site total capacities
• Prioritize Outbound: Partner with Planning, Buying, Branch Planning and Channel leads to prioritize outbound to stores/site if capacities constraints
• Outbound management: Coordinate with Supply and Branch/hub/Ecom teams to manage & execute outbound product flow and ensure efficient delivery and store/site capacity guardrails, aligned with commercial and promotional calendars. Ensure the outbound process runs smoothly, respecting both trade priorities and hub and DC needs
• DTC Trade: Participate in weekly trade calls, have understanding of trade performance and what implications this can have on inbound and outbound capacity plans
• Initial Allocation: Understand commercial needs for initial allocations for the Full Price & eCom sales channels, in line with commercial drop dates and optimized store/site level quantities for product launch, in order to properly forecast warehouse processing capacity needs
• Replenishment demand: Understand the replenishment process and forecasted replenishment demand in order to properly forecast warehouse processing capacity needs
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide weekly an overview of Pack & Hold volumes vs store release capacities to Planning, Buying, Trade leads to ensure prioritization of key PG’s if P&H quantities exceed store release capacities
• Commercial mindset: Fully understand trading calendar and ensure DC is aware of different outbound needs based on commercial calendar and trade actions
• Continuous improvement: Implement and exploit new systems and processes to continually increase team efficiency.
Note: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The role may require additional tasks and duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.
Measures of Success
• Sales & revenue: Deliver net sales and net margin in line with targets
• Inventory and stock management: accurate and timely stock allocation, including weeks of cover, in/out of stock (NOS, essentials)
• Planning Accuracy: high levels of capacity (warehouse/site) planning accuracy
Requirements
• 3-5+ years of experience in allocation, supply planning or inventory flow management ideally within a full price or concessions retail environment in a fashion, retail, or consumer goods organization.
• Sound understanding of inventory flow management and allocation / replenishment optimization including performance tracking of forecasts.
• Commercial and results-driven mindset, with the ability to balance commercial goals with operational execution.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights to optimize capacity planning strategies.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills, collaborating effectively with Merch Planning, Buying, Hubs/Branch Planning, Channel leadership, Planning Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• System knowledge on SAP (own flow, ecom flow, concession flow) and replenishment tools
• Highly adaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.
• Fluency in English
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or retail preferred
