Summer 2025 Internship Details:
Program dates: June 2 to August 8
10-week program with 35-hour work week
Hybrid, onsite work schedule: Tues, Wed & Thurs in office
Internship location in NYC
Compensation: $22/hr + a $2500 stipend
Applicants must be able to commit to full-time hours and the entire length of the program.
Applicants must be undergraduates and/or those actively enrolled in a specialized/technical certification program

Internship offers will be extended by the recruitment team at the end of March into early April

Job Title: Intern, Global Merchandise Planning, Apparel
Job summary
Calvin Klein Global is looking for a merchandise planning summer intern. This role will be under the mentorship of the Global Merchandise Planner Manager, Apparel. The intern will assist with the aggregation and analysis of global data used to understand and address product opportunities and challenges. They will support the development of global pre-season product financial plans, seasonal investment reporting, and ad-hoc analysis reflective of evolving business needs. There will be opportunities to work across all categories of the CK Apparel division (Men’s and Women’s) and cross-functionally with key business partners in Merchandising, Supply, and Production.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Pull weekly sales reporting for business analysis
Analyze in-season & pre-season product selling trends (by category, best / worst selling styles, color selling)
Compile and validate global investment data
Attend internal and cross-functional team meetings, helping to record & recap key takeaways and actions
Assist collective Global Merchandise Planning team with ad-hoc projects as needed
Education
Rising junior or senior undergraduate student preferred, pursuing a degree in Fashion Merchandising (AAS), Business (BA/BS) or other related field with intention to work in Fashion Merchandising upon graduating
Minimum 3.0 GPA in core major classes preferred
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Experience / Skills
Previous relevant internship / work experience or proven curiosity about the industry
Proven academic leadership or extra-curricular activity preferred
Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills with proven retail math or business insight, including elements of markup, margin analysis, and inventory efficiency metrics
Well organized and detailed with strong verbal and written communication skills
Forward thinking and solution oriented; takes initiative with the ability to meet deadlines and expectations
Great teammate with an eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment working across multiple teams
