POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager Accounting will be responsible for managing key aspects of accurate financial reporting for EMEA EHQ Finance activities, and supporting internal and external audit processes. They will also manage a group of FP&A analysts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, SAP ERP systems, and have knowledge of FP&A processes and brings a strong blend of technical finance knowledge, people leadership, and global coordination experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Accounting:
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for respective jurisdictions in line with local and global GAAP.
Lead internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with auditors.
Supervise spend management and cost control initiatives. Driving efficiencies in business processes and guiding business teams on accounting areas.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports for business leadership.
Review month end close activities prepared by team
Review balance sheet reconciliations prepared by team
Approves journal entries prepared by team
Manages and reviews audit requests (internal/external) and sets priorities and deliverables to the team
Supervises the preparation of statutory work; ensuring adequate controls on disclosures/reporting packages
Ensure strong internal controls and continuously improve finance processes.
Financial Planning and analysis
Oversees work prepared by senior financial analysts with regard to budget / forecast inputs
Ensures accuracy and completeness of scenario analyses performed by the team
Accountable for the deliverables prepared by the team
Team Management & Reporting
Recruit, train, and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team objectives are met.
Prepare and present regular GL reports, highlighting key metrics and areas of concern.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
General:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct : Subordinate associates within PVH Services India Private: Senior accountants & senior financial analysts supporting EMEA.
Indirect : N/A
DECISION MAKING:
Authorized to approve routine adjustments, within defined thresholds.
Recommend process changes and system improvements related to inventory costing and control.
Escalate significant financial risks or discrepancies and propose corrective action plans.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of SAP ERP systems, particularly in costing modules.
Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles specifically related to inventory and SOX compliance.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
CPA, CMA, CA or other advanced certifications preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Ability to work effectively across time zones and international teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on driving efficiencies and reducing operational risks.
Ability to handle multiple priorities, changing deadlines, and deal with ambiguity.
