About the role:
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in EMEA plays a crucial role in driving the company's financial health and strategic decision-making. This team is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysing financial performance to provide insights that support business growth and efficiency. The team collaborates with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimize resources. The FP&A team supports the organisation as the leader of P&L Management across the enterprise, with responsibility for Performance Management, Strategic Assessment, gross margin management, and cost control, ultimately driving growth and profitability for our business.
The Manager FP&A, Performance Tracking is responsible for driving financial transparency, accountability, and performance optimization across the EMEA region. You will be responsible for driving financial analysis and reporting by leading month-end close insights, revenue and margin analysis, preparing executive-level presentations and reporting for CEO/CFO reviews, earnings releases, board meetings, and quarterly calls, while coordinating closely with regional and corporate stakeholders. This role is crucial for ensuring that the EMEA region meets its financial goals and achieves sustainable business success.
What you'll do:
P&L management: consolidate the end-to-end PVHE P&L, ensuring accuracy and alignment across brands, channels, regions, and functions.
• Analyze actual financial results for the EMEA region Brands x Hubs x Channel, identifying key drivers of performance and areas for improvement.
• Forecasting and Reporting: lead and drive the Budget and Rolling forecast (RExx) processes, leveraging trend analysis and variance analysis vs. Plan and Prior Year to inform business decisions.
• Data analytics: conduct targeted financial analysis and scenario modelling to support emerging priorities, strategic questions, or investment considerations. Automate and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, enhancing financial reporting and analytics to support strategic business decisions.
• Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities to senior leadership, providing recommendations for mitigation.
• Develop strategic communications and executive presentation: support the preparation of key internal & external presentations, e.g., CFO or board reviews, monthly financial updates to leadership, etc.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, acting as a true business partner and ensuring that all involved parties in the financial monitoring process are continuously challenged and partnered towards accretive and profitable growth, as well as efficiency drivers and optimization of the E2E process.
• Continuous improvement: identify opportunities for improving systems, processes, and efficiencies.
• Leadership: be a Role Model, contributing to best practices, knowledge building, collaboration, and professional growth.
Measures of Success:
• Revenue: sustained revenue growth across brands and channels.
• Gross margin: year-over-year improvement in brand-level gross margin performance.
• ROI Governance.
• Operating expenses: improve operating expense ratio through coordinated planning and cost discipline.
• Cost savings: exploit cost-saving opportunities through better inventory, markdown, or operating cost decisions.
• Solid Strategic processes established and rolling execution embedded.
What you'll bring:
•7+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a global fashion or consumer goods retailer.
• Proficient in data analysis and modelling to create budgets, financial reports, forecasts, etc.
• Very strong business acumen and the ability to identify, formulate, and prioritize strategic initiatives in line with key business drives and goals.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to use metrics and insights to shape strategy and drive efficiency.
• Highly motivated self-starter who works independently and proactively identifies opportunities to create value within Finance or the broader PVH Europe organization, e.g., processes to improve, new analyses to perform, etc.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with global teams at all levels of the organization.
• Agility and adaptability to new ways of working; championing future processes, interfaces, and ways of working, leading matrix transformation from the front.
• Fluency in English.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, business, or economics preferred.
