The Studio
Tommy Studios produces and delivers over 225,000 image assets each year for both Tommy Hilfiger, primarily for the brands’ global e-commerce websites for EMEA, APAC and North America. It conducts an average of 7 simultaneous; daily productions for 93% of working days within a year, amounting to approximately 1644 productions per annum. From its new state-of-the-art 23,500 sq. ft. facility in Amsterdam, Tommy Studios strives to blend operational excellence with creative elevation to ensure best-in-class digital fashion consumer experiences, every day. Located in the Houthavens neighborhood of Amsterdam, the studio includes 9 fully equipped e-commerce bays running on the latest technology, 2 editorial bays with drive-in capacity, a still-life studio, equipment room, sample management area, cafe with full menu, kitchen, offices, meeting rooms and chill-out spaces.
The Team
This role sits under the creative branch of Tommy Studios, part of the Global Brand Marketing structure that defines and executes the brand strategy and creative content for Tommy Hilfiger globally. At Tommy Studios, approximately 25–30 full time studio associates fulfill the operations (data and samples), production (planning and production), creative (imaging, styling and art direction) and asset delivery (post-production and regional accounts) departments. The studios manage and collaborate with over 300 freelance associates for content production. The productions range across still-life, style-out, on-model, video and artificial intelligence initiatives.
The Position
The Manager, Global Styling, E-Commerce role supports an operational environment to produce compelling content in high volume, engage through representing brand personality and visually inform in a consistent and accurate manner, to aspire and encourage conversion by the digital consumer.
The role bridges commercial and brand-aspirational values, serving as the global styling guardian for all studio-based product detail page (PDP) visual content. Governing still and moving assets from conception to delivery, the E-Commerce Global Styling Manager ensures consistent output, against brand guidelines, visually appealing, product focused, within daily productivity targets.
Through building strong relationships with the wider studio team, global stakeholders and freelance content creation crews, the role involves making informed decisions balancing a strategic approach, operational imperatives and creative considerations for content creation. On a daily a basis, the E-Commerce Global Styling Manager collaborates closely with the Imaging, Art Direction, Production and Casting Managers to optimise end-to-end processes and workflows. At the very heart of the role, is a visionary, creative, motivational, empathetic, organised and pragmatic leader. Steadfast and reliable, the core function is to inspire, guide, mentor and manage a team of freelance stylists and dressers and creatives, paving the way to yield elevated PDP content at scale.
Main Responsibilities (in collaboration with 1x other Manager, Global Styling, E-Commerce)
Own and drive all aspects of styling output and execution of Tommy Studios, focusing on guidelines, photography, videography, still-life and artificial intelligence productions for product detail page content and capsules.
Responsible for bridging the cohesive, on-brand and elevated output between:
Brand Styling Direction and Guidelines.
Seasonal Styling Direction and Guidelines.
Style-out/ Pre-Styling.
Outfit Allocation.
On-Set Dressing.
Still-Life Styling.
Artificial Intelligence/ Videography Styling.
Styling and Dressing Retouching.
Ensure high-quality styling output and adherence to the brand’s visual standards and delivers against the brief.
Develop, update and communicate styling, dressing, outfit allocation and retouch output guidelines.
Collaborate with brand Styling Director, marketing, commercial, and production teams to infuse campaign styling, the ‘style enthusiasts’ consumer profile and branding to digital product detail page content.
Inspire the styling team to produce work that elevates the brand, with close consideration for the consumer journey to drive conversion through aspiration.
Lead, manage, mentor, and empower a team of 1x full time stylist, a pool of 5–10 freelance stylists, and a pool of 70–80 freelance dressers, providing clear feedback and guidance and set the creative quality bar.
Build, coach, trial, train, feedback and oversee freelance crew comprising of Stylists, Dresser 1s, Dresser 2,s Tailors and Rail Preparation teams.
Host seasonal kick offs, briefings, training and workshops to full time and freelance associates.
Foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages new ideas and professional growth.
Work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, Business Units departments and functions relating to imaging, art direction, casting and consumer insights to align creative efforts with overall business objectives.
Work with the Operations & Production team to ensure the creative process is productive to meet time and cost parameters.
Foster the use of AI tools for content creation and output.
Test and drive new e-commerce PDP creative content treatments, techniques and methods utilizing latest resources, technology and tools.
Research competitors, industry trends, regular reviews of e-commerce websites, to stay ahead of the best practices and provide real inspiration and excitement to our customers.
Regular quality review, approval and rejection of imagery on Creative Force image management system and on-site imagery.

Experience Requisites
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing and executing fashion styling in a high volume, high quality, fast-paced commercial studio.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in team management within a leadership role.
Proven experience in e-commerce fashion styling is required.
Education & Skillset
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Styling, Visual Communications or related field.
Business level fluency in spoken and written English.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Teams and Keynote.
Advantageous with competency in Creative Force and interest in AI tools.
