The Position

As Manager- Interior Design you are responsible for the sourcing & definition of creative elements in support of global Retail, wholesale and SIS concepts and environments as well as for the creation of detailed & informative guidelines to enable regional execution.

Your primary goal is to ensure all Brand environments and consumer touchpoints are elevated through the usage and display of carefully selected and curated Brand relevant furniture, decorative items and foliage.

You are budget & process aware, devising simple yet highly impactful and effective creative solutions.

You collaborate closely with the Senior Managers- Concept, Concept Design and Concept Strategy to ensure the concept direction is diligently followed through within all consumer environments and touchpoints.

You report into the Senior Manager- Concept & design.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research and helping create concept direction mood boards & presentations
  • Sourcing (within brief and budget) adequate creative elements that can be executed at regional level
  • Collaborating with the FF&E pillar to enable the regional production of bespoke furniture & interior elements
  • Creating clear guidelines and defining clear strategies to enable independent regional execution
  • Ensuring the guidelines are safeguarded & adequately updated in the global library as well as shared by the Comms team on a timely basis
  • Connecting with the team to ensure a 360 concept and design approach is applied to all projects
  • Connecting with internal & external stakeholders to ensure all projects are delivered to Brand standards
  • Reviewing specific store opening packs with the local PM to ensure all is adequate as well as supporting them with execution (by remote unless a special project and/or travel budget allows)
  • Actively collaborating with VM and the seasonal concept team to remain aware of seasonal creative directions and align when applicable. Share learnings with the team.
  • Supporting a 360 feedback culture, actively seeking input from your stakeholders in the regions & providing alike; acting upon issues or concerns

Maintain the global concept guidelines aligned with concept updates & keep the reference data organized.

Requirements

List the skills and qualifications needed for the role. Be clear about the level of experience or proficiency required. Specify any necessary education or certifications.

  • Interior styling or interior architecture degree
  • 5 years+ of relevant design & creative project management experience
  • Software skills to include photoshop & MS office
  • Highly creative & a very keen eye for detail
  • Experience through all design phases, from concept to detailing & delivery
  • Passionate about sourcing furniture, decorative elements and art
  • Acute awareness of the field and Brand competitors
  • Structured, organized, logical
  • Fluent English communication skills [written and spoken], other languages a pre
