POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for the efficient operations and execution of all activities for the brand and collaborate with different business partners.  Represent the best interests of the brand internally and externally. Oversee the overall production operations and management for Vietnam and Cambodia for Tommy Hilfiger.  Grow and develop talent.  Manage the day to day execution and business operations for that brand to ensure KPI’s achieved.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring the team conducts line review meetings with the factories by transitioning the style from Sourcing Merchandise to the Production Process
  • Production Operations Management
  • Deliver KPIs: On-time delivery as per established KPIs and quality performance to ensure bulk production matches approved standards by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work on initial forecast plan, throughout production plan and buy placements between vendors and buying & planning teams while negotiating adjustments on capacity required between forecast to actuals, overall and at style level
  • Review quarterly production plan and calibrate against capacity allocation
  • Calendar management and process mapping to ensure optimization and efficiency in production tracking
  • Coach and mentor / guide the team to anticipate and proactively work with the factories on potential production delays
  • Manage the efficiency of the team in line with the department's budget
  • Vendor relationship maintenance and development, including factory visits to review production quality and tracking.
  • Calibrate supply chain capability and provide input into sourcing strategies.
  • Drive 100% adoption of VMS WIP and Nexus WIP metrics
  • Support Traceability and Sustainability initiatives to meet corporate objectives
  • Support Vendor management initiatives related to Production ops tracking and strategy
  • Be the go-to person for execution of brand strategy and recommend resolution
  • Grow and develop talent while aligning the team with PVH culture

  • Managing T&E expenses within Team budget

  • Responsible for day to day governance of all associates in their brand team

  • Ability to plan and execute actions required to manage production, capable problem solving and to give leadership through  communication to production team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience and 5 years at managerial level in apparel merchandising with a focus on production operations

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with the business and technical communities
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with global business teams and internal stakeholders
  • Project management
