The Team

Our team ensures that product data is accurate, complete, consistent, and delivered at the right moment in time to enable seamless downstream operations. We are key stakeholders in defining, governing, and monitoring product data integrity across the organization. By safeguarding data visibility, timeliness, and quality, we enable operational excellence, support digital transformation initiatives, and drive scalable data practices.

We collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, engineering, and central functions to ensure that product data is optimized, reliable, and actionable.

The Role

As Product Data Lead, you will act as a senior individual contributor, guiding the day-to-day activities of a small operational Product Data team. Your focus is to ensure the team consistently follows agreed data standards, validation checks, timelines, and escalation processes so that product data integrity is maintained across all operational milestones.

A core accountability of this role is to establish and drive strong ownership for ensuring that product data is set up in source systems accurately, completely, consistently, and at the right moment in time. You will ensure data readiness aligns with key business and operational milestones, enabling downstream systems and processes to operate effectively and without disruption.

You will establish strong operational control across the data lifecycle, including structured issue follow-up, root cause analysis, and escalation management, ensuring data is delivered right-first-time. You will monitor operational performance, analyze data quality and readiness, identify risks or recurring issues, and drive accountability to resolve them at source.

Additionally, you will highlight improvement opportunities and embed stronger controls, processes, and ways of working to achieve consistent, scalable, and timely product data setup.

You will work closely with a Data Analyst who supports the team with data modelling, reporting, data quality analysis, and Python-based automation. You will provide direction on priorities, frame operational questions, define requirements, validate outputs, and ensure analytical insights translate into actionable improvements for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safeguard data integrity across systems, ensuring downstream processes run without disruption
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve data governance standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Proactively identify data quality, consistency, and timing gaps, and drive scalable, long-term solutions at source

  • Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data setup in source systems
  • Coordinate with stakeholders on issue resolution and act as a subject matter expert on product data quality, readiness, and governance
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to data transformation and system enhancements
