About THE ROLE

The Real Estate Analyst plays a critical role in the financial management and analysis of the company's real estate portfolio. This position is integral to ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the properties under management. The role requires a blend of strong accounting expertise and analytical acumen to deliver comprehensive financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.

The Real Estate Analyst is responsible for the financial management and analysis of the company's real estate portfolio as well as owning the governance for all network changes. This role involves maintaining accurate property-level accounting records, preparing financial reports, conducting financial analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. They will work closely with major stakeholders including the Real Estate Manager, Retail Team, Finance Team, HQ real estate team and Leasing Agents.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for a portfolio of properties
• Prepare variance analyses and explanations for budget vs. actual performance
• Develop and maintain financial models to support property valuations, acquisitions, and dispositions
• Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans
• Own and drive the governance process for all network changes in collaboration with HQ
• Collaborate with property managers, leasing agents, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide financial insights
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as needed
