The Team
Within the Supply Planning area of the TH Supply department our mission is to deliver the right product at the right time in every commercial region. This team serves as the backbone of our department, collaborating closely with commercial regions, licensed markets and offshore supply hubs to drive regional growth forward. With an integral position in the team, the role contributes significantly to the department's operational efficiency, strategic growth, and overall success.
The Supply Planning team consists of an offshore planning team, located in offices in Turkey, the ISC region and Asia Region, and an onshore planning team based in the Amsterdam headquarters.
The HQ supply planning team focuses on the end-to-end planning and the global buy execution of our Full price & Outlet collections, we have dedicated planners for each business unit, being Menswear, Womenswear, Kids, Close to Body, Footwear & Accessories, Tommy Jeans and Outlet, as well as dedicated planners that collaborate with our commercial regions being the Americas, APAC and EMEA. Additionally, this team is responsible for Liability management, Monthly direct sales business (Never Out of Stock NOS & Best Seller Replenishment BSR), Sample management and global operations.
The planning team is divided between different leads as the Fullprice & Outlet collections run on different calendars, both collections consist of four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter). Based on the different regional forecasts and commercial needs they are responsible for creating a supply plan that caters to these needs with minimized risk taking on material commitments and Early-Buys. The offshore planning teams in the Supply Hubs negotiate these plans directly with our vendors in close collaboration with the HQ planning teams. Once the best possible planning is achieved this team consolidates the regional received buys into a global buy and collaborates with the offshore team to renegotiate the differences vs forecast and still achieve a similar result as planned.
