About the Role:
The Vice President of Global Tax Reporting, Compliance and Controversy will partner with the Senior Vice President of Global Tax Reporting & Transformation to lead the global tax accounting, US tax compliance and tax controversy functions. This hands-on role oversees the quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including uncertain tax positions, SEC tax disclosures, effective tax rate forecasting and the accuracy and completeness of the Consolidated U.S. Federal tax return. The role also involves evaluating existing tax processes and implementing technology solutions to streamline global tax provision calculations, strengthening controls, and enhancing operational efficiency.
The Vice President will be empowered to collaborate across all areas of tax planning, transfer pricing, M&A, and finance transformation initiatives to drive strategic tax value across the enterprise. This position offers an exciting chance to drive change and play a key role in redesigning and improving tax processes across PVH to optimize the overall tax function, mitigating risk through modernized technologies, and fostering more transparent engagement with senior leadership.
What You’ll Do:
Direct the preparation and primary review of the global consolidated income tax provision (monthly/quarterly/annual), including all related tax journal entries and financial statement disclosures in compliance with US GAAP reporting.
Oversee the consolidation and documentation of global tax reserves; ensuring compliance with support for all PVH’s tax positions.
Provide regular updates to the SVP of Global Tax Reporting and Transformation to ensure accurate assessment of material tax impacts and effective management of the overall global effective tax rate.
Ability to communicate tax reporting results concisely to senior finance leadership and C-Suite executives
Support Internal audit with quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements, maintaining well-documented and robust internal controls over tax processes.
Expertise in addressing external auditor inquiries, compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring audit readiness/transparency.
Direct the U.S. Federal income tax compliance process, including technical review, issue resolution, and collaboration with external advisors to optimize tax planning and cash flow.
Serve as the primary liaison with the IRS on all open audits; working strategically to minimize overall audit risk.
Monitor and interpret current and proposed U.S. federal tax legislative developments (e.g., OBBB Act), providing strategic insights and updates to senior tax leadership for informed decision-making and proactive tax planning.
Manage relationships with external tax vendors and consultants.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders (Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Legal, etc.) and external auditors to support financial reporting and compliance.
Lead and mentor the tax staff and all direct reports in executing the strategic tax plan, promoting professional development and team performance.
Drive tax process automation and transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency through the effective use of tax technology.
What You’ll Bring:
Minimum 17+ years of corporate tax experience, combining public accounting and in-house leadership experience across tax accounting & reporting, compliance, and tax audit/controversy for large US multinational public companies.
Bachelor’s degree in public accounting from an accredited college or university required.
CPA certification and/or Masters in taxation is required.
Expert in U.S. GAAP tax accounting, with deep knowledge of ASC 740 and related financial disclosure requirements.
Broad experience across federal, state, and international income tax matters, including complex tax concepts such as FDII, GILTI, BEAT, Section 163(j), etc.
Proficient in interpreting the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, and authoritative tax guidance.
Skilled in modeling tax impacts of legislative changes and strategic tax positions to inform effective tax rate planning and forecasting.
Familiarity with SAP preferred (e.g., S4, Group Reporting, & SAP Analytics Cloud).
Possesses high-level proficiency with CorpTax (Compliance), OneSource tax provision software and Microsoft Suite (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, MS Teams).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, manage critical deadlines, and operate independently in high-pressure environments.
Experience in developing and mentoring high-performing tax teams.
Ability to team closely with both the Executive Vice President & Senior Vice President of Global Tax to assure execution of overall tax operations strategy.
Effective communicator with the ability to clarify and translate complex tax issues for cross-functional audiences, finance leadership and C-suite executives.

Pay Range:$225,000 - $275,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
